I can't believe I can use it

I can't say enough about this product!! For years I have failed in my attempt to take iron pills. Within days of taking the supplements, no matter how 'gentle' they were supposed to be, I would become constipated and my gall bladder was to say the least, very, very angry... After suffering for several months literally sleeping through the day, I went for a blood test and was diagnosed with severe anemia. Because there was now no debating my need for iron, I decided to look for a liquid version instead. I went to a local and very reputable health store and was given the Flora. Because I am running in and out all day I couldn't be assured I would remember to take the recommended dosage throughout the day, so I just took the 20mg first thing in the morning. I figured if it wasn't going to sit well, I would know right away. Turns out it was the best thing for me to do. I am assured I am taking the correct dosage and taking it properly. As far as the cap goes, I can never read any of those see through caps so I marked the level with a permanent marker just like I do for other liquid medicines. It doesn't fade and you don't have to guess. Within a week I could actually get some housework/gardening/workouts done without feeling like I was falling asleep standing up. I have another test coming up in a few weeks, so I'll find out just how effective it works. But even if it does take longer to bring up my iron levels, thats fine with me. I have found something I can take religiously and not give up and put myself back in anemiaville.

Floradix is a must for women who are anemic with/from menorrhagia. In just 10 days, my condition was significantly improved. My lips also went from pale skin-color to pink. They hadn't been pink in years so I am very grateful for Floradix. I've accidentally taken more than the label recommends on a couple of occasions. It's not easy to pour the right amount into the measuring cap. I have, on most days, just taken one dose of 10-15 mL with no regard to timing. I've taken it after meals, before meals, or nowhere near a meal. If anything, my experience shows that good results can be had even if you aren't good at remembering to take your supplements at a particular time (ideal for anemics whose memories may be compromised).This is my second trial on Floradix. In my early twenties I tried a bottle with excellent results, but didn't think I could afford to continue using it. Now that I can afford to treat myself to some feel-good aids, Floradix is top on my list. Plus, I think I have found a way to reduce the cost for the average user.In under two weeks this has worked so well that I wonder if it's overkill. I'm inclined to think it may be too effective at the suggested dose. After the first month, most people could probably cut the dose in half. Of course each individual would be different, but if expense is an issue for you, try my money saver method before you give up your Floradix.To save expense, one could buy the larger bottle and add Willard Water concentrate to help preserve it. This is what I did, and I'm having excellent results. Since Willard Water is an excellent preserver, I'm sure that the 30-day shelf life could be extended by 50% or more. I won't know for sure until I get past the 30 day mark. I do know it works with other liquids as a preservative and it helps nutrients be absorbed more readily so I would add it to the Floradix even if I did plan to use it in a month's time.As an alternative, one could freeze half of the contents in another container for later use. Either method could help you double the life of your Floradix. If you try one or both methods, please leave a comment.

I started taking this liquid iron a month before going to the doctor for testing. I didn't know that I was severely anemic at the time but I did feel like I was which was why I started taking this. I practically finished one whole bottle and then was tested and came back severely anemic. I don't think this has enough iron to replenish someone who is severly depleted of iron. My doctor wants me to take 120mg of iron daily for 3 months and this won't be able to help much. I think that after iron levels are restored it could be a good way of getting iron without the side effects of the pill form. I did not have any stomach discomfort while taking this and I have a very sensitive stomach. It does taste very metallic but is easily overcome by drinking water afterward. Worth a try if you are looking for an alternative to an iron supplement but not strong enough to bring the body out of a severely anemic state.

Make sure to shake it up

I forgot to shake my bottle up before I started drinking it so for the first half I thought the hype about how bad this stuff tasted was unfounded. However, as I've gotten to the bottom I can see why people complain. It's pretty yucky. I keep mine in the fridge right next to the OJ and just take a swig with my morning cup of juice to wash the taste away quickly.However, since I've started drinking it, I've noticed my energy levels have increased and I don't feel dizzy anymore (I currently have anemia of pregnancy). I'd recommend it for anyone suffering from anemia or who needs extra iron in their diet.

My wife has had energy problems due to low iron levels. She has tried iron supplement pills and hasn't had that great of results. Until now. She mixes Floradix with water and drinks it on a daily basis as recommended and has noticed higher energy levels. We have recommended this product to our friends. When we first got it, she didn't refrigerate it after opening and said it tasted like rotten grass. The second bottle was refrigerated and it tastes a little better (just grass, or maybe less rotten grass). She momentarily puts up with the bad taste every day because it's worth it to her (and me) for her to feel normal again.

I started taking these on July 1, so it's only been a little over 2 weeks and already i've seen growth. Even my boyfriend has noticed. My hair was juuust at the base of my neck, (i cut it pixie short last sept and have been growing it back out agian since), and now its prob about 1/2 of an inch longer...subtle but i've noticed :-)I had done a lot of research online to find vitamins that would encourage hair growth and the reviews from this product is what made me want to try it. Although i was skeptical at first, i was hoping to see results but didn't expect to notice anything so soon. I have told all my friends about the vitamins and although its a kind of annoying to take so many pills a day in addition to my multi-vitamin, seeing results makes it worth it.I take one Step 1 pill with two Step 2 pills every morning around 8 when i have my breakfast. Then i take two more Step 2 pills around 2pm, followed by one Step 1 and two Step 2 pills at 8 in the evening...i try to divide it evenly so it stays in my system consistantly.I will have to re-order another month supply of pills by next week so they will be by the time i finish this months bottles. Take it from someone who's idea of a "review" on Amazon is just stating whether i recieved the product by the date stated. I wanted to share my experience so far for those people who were like me and unsure as to whether they should try it out.I will come back and give another update in about a month...I cant wait to have my hair looooong again like it used to be before i chopped off 10 inches.

Insanely Awesome! I have had the same hair length for YEARS, something that most people find unbelievable. I couldn't get my hair to grow past my shoulders, I took biotin (which was useless), used shampoos and conditioners that were supposed to help stimulate hair growth, you name it, I've tried it...nothing ever worked for me. After reading the reviews on this product I decided to try it and I have been amazed at the results. My nails are growing insanely fast and strong- I've had to trim them at least 2x a week and my hair is noticeably thicker AND LONGER! Most hair products I've used only helped thicken my hair, but this is the 1st time I've used something that GROWS my hair. If you have difficulties getting your hair to grow past a certain length I highly recommended this product- I know it's expensive and it's a lot of pills to take in a day, but even after using this for only a month, the results have been definitely worth it.

I have used this product on and off for the last 2-years. I have notice that my hair grows faster when using this. Side effects is a warm sensation that dissipates not long after digestion.Pros: This product does deliver on its' promise, you're hair will grow faster. The price is not bad for what you get ; a product that actually worksCons: The number of pills you have to take can be time a nuisance . The process of taking the pills can be time consuming. i.e. For step One: Take 1 tablet in the morning and afternoon/ evening with a meal or snack. .. For step two: Take on an empty stomach - which mean you have to plan ahead of time when you are going to eat, typically an hour before you eat.Overall I would recommend hair formula 37 (step 1&2) for those who are serious. I just recently bought hair formula shampoo and conditioner because it was on sale. I have not noticed a difference when using the shampoo and conditioner.I give this a 4/5 because of the process of taking the pills. Hope this was helpful to someone... Tanks for reading.

I have only been using this product for 1 month now. I am a multiracial female so there are not a lot of great products I have found out there for myself. So I gave this a try, my hair had started to really fall out( I mean chunks at at time). I didnt see results until about 2 weeks into taking the vitamins. After using this for a month my hair has really improved, not more falling out everytime I touch it! Which is great. I don't know if it has grown any because I have not straighten it out yet because I used to do that alot, and it really damaged my hair. But so far so good!

I have been using HF37 a little over 2 weeks now, I am a black woman with very short( natural) hair. My hair was so short that it couldn't even be braided into cornrows. I could honestly say that my hair has grown more than an inch since using this product and is braided into cornrows at this very moment. I didn't want to buy this product at first because I thought it was only for caucasian hairtypes (which usually grows faster than african american hairtypes) But I decided to give it a try anyway's. I had a vitamin D test taken in December last year, (25 OH D), which was 84 nmol/l. Have been taking 10000 IU a day and raised my level to 207 nmol/l. Have not been sick for a day, and never felt better in my life.

Just What The Doctor Ordered!

When visiting my doctor and describing my symptoms of lacking energy, lack of joy, some depression and several other factors, he said that I should consider taking 5,000mg of Vitamin D3 per day. I found it interesting that he said that many of the doctors in his building are taking it since finding that after about 2 months their energy and mood levels are significantly improved. Since I am always interested in what Doctors take themselves, I decided to study why this was true, so when at Bar and Nob, I found the Vitamin D Cure by James E Dowd, MD. ($14.95 or on line e-book for free [if you know where to look])and was very impressed. Nearly all my symptoms were noted in the V D3 deficiency list. As a matter of fact, both my teens and my wife have symptoms of V D3 deficiency as well! When telling my wife about my exciting "find", she said that her doctor had prescribed it for her two months earlier (5,000mg/day.) Needless to say, NOW Brand of Vitamin D3 is the best value that I was able to find! It is pretty inexpensive for an 8 month supply (under $15 including shipping.) I would highly recommend reading the Vitamin D Cure and NOW Brand Vitamin D3 gel caps. Some Vitamin D deficiency symptoms from pg 10: fatigue, joint pain/or swelling, muscle pain pain, cramping, and/or weakness (leg cramps?), chronic pain, uncontrolled weight gain, high BP, restless sleep, poor concentration and memory, headaches, bowel and bladder problems. Just as my title says, this is good enough for the money. Are there better? Sure, but most D3 is comparable. The 5000 iu is a nice dosage as it lets you take less pills. And, most importantly, it is not D2. As for those people who feel that 5000 is too much, remember that the government's upper limit on vitamin D is a very conservative 2000 iu's. Vitamin D isn't toxic until something like 50,000 iu's. But, check with your healthcare practitioner and have your panels run to see how much you might need. Good health everyone.

Gentle but effective

This product works great for me. It's potent enough to help me get to sleep on nights when I'm struggling to fall to sleep and it's gentle and natural enough that I don't have any after effects the next day. I'm the type where a little "medicine" goes a long way so I only need one of these. My impression of all the Gaia products that I've tried is that they are of high quality and potency.

Not good

I tried these products two times just to make sure it was not a mistake the first time. Basically, this product did not make sleep but rather very awake. And when I tried to take a prescription medicine to help me sleep it seems to have diminished the sleeping effects of the prescriptions medicine. Although I was very drowsy I could not fall sleep. I will throw this in the crash. Horrible, horrible.

Within 45 minutes of taking two caps I was very, very sleepy, but 30 minutes after that I was wide awake. I stayed awake for two more hours.

I've used the veggie capsules occasionally for about a year now. I do find that they work quite well when I'm really 'excited' and can't sleep when I need to; however, I do notice a bit of "drowsiness" when I wake. Of course, that is very mild in comparison to any other sleeping aid I've ever tried!

Good brand of acai

I got on the Acai Berry band wagon maybe a year ago. I find that acai berry keeps you cleaned out (at least in my case), not that I have any problems, but it just makes things move through easier. I mean, if you are reading about it, you want to know what it does, don't you? Besides the concept that acai is supposed to be healthy for you because of its antioxidant properties, it performs that additional movement function. I don't know acai's relationship to weight loss, but I know that we don't want things to sit around inside us and ferment.I have found this brand to be particularly good. The bottle states it is 100% vegetarian and has 60 liquid-filled capsules, is tested free of heavy metal toxicity, is an alcohol-free concentrate, and 1 capsule contains 1200mg of freeze-dried acai berry from certified organic acai.I have found that 1 capsule per day is quite sufficient for me. At 60 capsules per bottle, that is a 2-month supply. The concentrated liquid cap is simple to take, easy to swallow, and works fairly quickly--so keep that in mind and don't take it when you are on the road.
