This product truly has been a miracle for my 19 year old son. The acne on his back was so severe the dermatologist was pushing Accutane. Since starting this Loma Lux product, his acne has improved so dramatically the dermatologist was speechless. We are on autoship for this!

Homeopathic medicine is no better than a placebo

As it turns out, homeopathy is the practice of diluting a substance so wholly in water that there is practically none of the substance left. Homeopathic remedies rely on the water to "remember" the substance and incur the substance's effects, when in reality... it's just water! If homeopathic remedies worked, we'd all be dead from drinking homeopathic sewage from the water remembering our what we flush down our toilets!Don't buy this garbage!

I have used Loma Lux Acne Pills for a few years now and have always had great results. There are absolutely no side effects and the pills are perfectly safe to take with other medication, unlike prescribed oral acne medication. Although these pills are amazing, they are not perfect and definitely do not work by themselves... you must take good care of your skin as well. If I slip up and happen to not wash my face well one night, I still might get a small blemish. If I were to completely slack off at washing my face, then these pills would not help so much. It is also helpful to take the pills with at least an 8 oz glass of water.I also use Proactiv, but I think any good, consistent acne treatment plan that works for you should work great along with the Acne Pill. I buy these pills regularly every few months and will always buy them... until I can go at least 1/2 a year without a single blemish... so I could be taking these forever, but that's okay... these pills aren't bad for you. Hope this helps.

Look these pills cost only 19 bucks delivered to your home. What can you buy for $19 a large pizza !? Just for $19 I got my acne gone. Thank God and thanks to those people who created these medication. I've spent hundreds on other medications, but nothing worked. All that cr*p like Proactive they just suck your money. What works for one may not work for you, but I am sure that these are worth giving a try. My point is , it is the only thing that worked for me and many others, it may work for you as well, just be patient , give it some time. And it is not a placebo as some reviews stated. First I was a little skeptic about Pills because so many of other medications had failed me, but I saw the results within the first week and if it was a placebo as some had stated it would never work with the attitude I had towards it.

I'm in my mid-forties. I've been fighting break-outs since I was a teenager. Once I found and started using the Acne-Free system, my acne has subsided. If I follow the directions, it can be a bit drying, so I adjust the frequency of use. Sometimes I add a little face lotion with sunscreen right over this product, and it hasn't been a problem. I wish Acne Free had been around when I was a teenager. It would have saved me 25 years of heartache!

I am taking this supplement with omega-7 and sulfameth (prescription). I am also using a topical cream on my face. That combinaison seems to help me manage my severe acne skin condition. The pills cocktail make all the difference.

These vitamins have made a significant improvement in my skin. They are rather expensive and Murad suggests you take 4 vitamins a day. I take 2 a day as well as 2 vitamin A tablets (a significant vitamin in these Murad vitamins) so that the cost is not as high. You can find similar reviews of this product's effectiveness on [...]. They may not work on significant acne, but they seem to work well on my mild case of acne.

Did Not Work At All

I bought this product for my 18 year old son and it did NOTHING for him. Very disappointing. I had heard alot of good things about Murad products. But as I said after 2 months this did nothing for his acne. Very upset that it cost me so much and got nothing in return.

I would give these a five but they are expensive, especially if you take the recommended dose, which I usually do. I think they recently changed the formula so each pill has twice as high a dose of Vitamin A and some other things, I believe. Anyway, they have worked very well for me in keeping my skin regulated. I tend to have hormonal and stress breakouts and those breakouts are minimal on the pills. Also, my skin heals very quickly, my pores are clearer, and my skin tone is more even. The supplements are not a magic bullet, but after a month or so, I started seeing results that I think are worth it. I'm 30 and have been taking them for about 6 months.

I didn't notice any differance in my skin by using this product...it's like water! Maybe the higher concentrations are worth it, but I don't know. I don't understand all the great reviews. It was not worth the money. I suggest using oil of olay or getting the vit c serum from avon.

I bought this product because it was recommended in one of the magazines I read. An editor had tried it and said she saw a difference in 10 days. Mine was about a week. It really tightens your skin and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. I highly recommend!

Worth every penny!

I have tried several products and heard Obagi was "it." I did not really believe the hype until I started using this. The difference is clearly visible almost instantly. I have very sensitive skin and was worried about break outs or that burning, tingling feeling. I got neither of those with this product. I intend to buy the Obagi 20% Vitamin C Serum next ... I'll post how that works, as well.

This really works as well as a prescribed medication without the cost of a doctors visit. If you get a pimple on your face or back or elsewhere take these 4 times a day and it will get rid of your problem in 3 or 4 days. At least that has been my experience. I recommend taking this product at first sign of a blemish or pimple as a preventative to more serious infections.

Not only does this product not work after 5 weeks of treatment; they expect you to take it 4 times a day!!! Nobody has time for that. On top of all of this, Natra Bio contains three key ingredients of a competitor's product, Loma Lux Acne Pill (Sulphur, Hepar Sulphuris Calcareum, Kali Bromatum). Clearly, Loma Lux has been on the market for many more years than this product has; sounds like a copycat to me.

I bought this as a gift for my mom, and she thought it was strong but good. She started using it every day and had to cut back to 3-4 times per week until her skin acclimated. The 10% solution is better for people with dry skin, and that works for her. If you have oily or acne-prone skin, go with the 5% solution.

I got this product for my niece, who has acne problems and nothing seems to help. She had nothing to loose, so she got it and it works!!! Her face is much better ever since she started using this soap. Other products had similar start, but after a while they stop having effect. I only hope it will always keep her face clear. So far I am very pleased with the results!

made acne worse

i suffer from mild adult acne and decided to give this a shot after reading reviews here and on other sites. big mistake. my pimples are typically small and rarely are they painful and deep. within a week and a half i developed a cluster of deep, painful zits. weird, i thought, but didn't chalk it up to the soap. after another week of use i broke out in another set of deep, painful pimples on another area of my face. after that, i quit using immediately. the smell didn't bother me, but the massive zits did.

Better than expected

The soap worked better than I exected it to. My acne has been reduced by atleast 75%. Other reviews and my doctor warned me of how drying the soap was but I didn't find it to be too bad. I used a non-acne facial moisturizer after each wash and have been fine. The only complaint I have about the soap is the smell. I wish it had a nicer scent. When first taken out of the package it smells fine but once wet you can really smell the sulfur. I don't care for the smell of sulfur. I would recommend this product to friends and have.

So Far, So Good

I have sensitive skin. Products like benzoyl peroxide aggravate my acne problems and my dermatologist advised me to stay away from it. I am also very fair skinned so every red spot shows immediately. I have had good luck with sulfur based products, so I tried this soap. The soap does dry my skin out, but I have also found that any cleanser that has helped my acne usually does. At first some spots on my face broke out a bit, but there had been some latent spots that probably needed to be "pulled out" so to speak. In the past few days these spots have started to dry up and lose color. I will alternate use of this bar with a gentle cleanser like Purpose, but I think it has helped my skin a great deal.

Over 50!

Love it! I'm over 50, and I have a good deal of sun damage spots. When I use this stuff, even once a day in the morning, I notice the spots are much lighter after about a week. All of the Mychelle products are good, they free of ingredients you can't understand, they are potent, and anyone who complains about the prices has not been to Macy's lately and tried to buy a real natural product.

I want to start off by saying that there isn't anything that I have tried so far of the MyChelle line that I dislike; there ARE a few products that I think are simply OK and perhaps not worth the price but I LOVE the majority of the line and can't say enough great things about the company and their products! It's a 'clean' line that avoids harmful or questionable chemicals and ingredients like most other lines contain and this line actually WORKS!! I DO notice a difference in my skin texture, even skin tone, pore size (I don't believe that they can be shrunk but using this line makes them appear smaller), the small teeny wrinkle lines either are less obvious and in some cases have disappeared. The one area that it hasn't made much difference are the lines in my neck so I'm still searching for something to help me there. In the meantime, I'm using MyChelle's protocol for sun damaged skin for that area.What I love about this Perfect C Serum is that within 2 days of using it, my skin appeared a bit more smoother both in tone (discolorations) and in texture - even immediately after washing my face so there was no product on my skin. I do tend to use more than most I would assume...I use it on my entire face - under eyes & eyelids to my neck and decollate` area. I've heard conflicting info from skin care companies in regards to layering serums...some say you can't, that what goes on first gets penetrated and the rest doesn't get absorbed enough to be worth putting on your skin after the 1st layer of serum and others say that it will penetrate through the skin but at a slower rate. MyChelle claims that you CAN layer your serums so I use the Perfect C in the evening first then layer it with the Firming Serum then follow with a moisturizer. In the daytime, I only use the Firming Serum with a moisturizer.I have 2 compliants about this Perfect C Serum...one is that it's simply too small. The other serums are sold in larger bottles at the same price range. This Perfect C serum is sold in the same size bottle as their Magnolia Fresh Eyes...so essentially you are supposed to use this serum on your entire face but yet you are only offered enough for your eye area. So essentially, it costs twice as much as their other serums in the long run...something is amiss there!My other complaint is actually about Amazon. I want to start off by saying that I LOVE Amazon!!! For the past couple of years, about 90% of my purchases - besides food and clothing come from Amazon. I DO realize that at times some prices fluctuate but this WAS being sold on Amazon for $33.25 (since I was tracking it in Jan 2010) and as of today, 2/8/10, the price skyrocketed to a whopping $7 MORE in ONE day! So now the price on this item is $40 and change!! About 2yrs ago, I found it a convenience that most items that I purchased were either comprable in pricing OR that Amazon's prices were lower than what I could find locally and at other online retailers. I can find this Perfect C serum for less than $40 locally and when my local health food stores have their 15% - 25% off sales, then unless Amazon will lower back their price on this to the original $33.25, I'll be buying it elsewhere and stocking up when on sale. Now granted, one item that I use on a regular basis that I have to pick up somewhere besides Amazon is no big deal but as I notice an item here and there having a price increase, then I won't be able to justify keeping my Amazon Prime membership and may have to consider going back to the brick & mortar days of shopping. I HOPE NOT - I'm too much of an Amazon fan to eagerly make that change but a whopping $7 increase for one item that I use on a regular basis that is too little of product to begin with is not settling well with me today. Hopefully Amazon will revert the pricing back...if so, I'd be more than happy to edit my review to note that Amazon (again) has the best pricing on this particular product...until then, YES! I do recommend this product but I'd suggest seeing if you can catch it on sale from a local store, MyChelle's website or other online retailers as you CAN find it for less than $40. I go through this stuff too fast to spend that much on it. I think the reason why I'm so irked about this today is that I purchased this one sale locally and have a couple weeks worth of product left and was planning on purchasing it via Amazon's Subscribe & Save program only to find out they increased the price. I felt compelled to write a review about it because I obviously wanted to share how wonderful this product was and also share that people can find it for less than $40...hopefully soon, Amazon will be one of the places where we can enjoy this at a more affordable price.Why the 4 star review? Simply because of the small bottle size that MyChelle bottles & sells it at. If it weren't for this, this would be a 100% 5 star product in my opinion!!! I'll update any more changes in my skin as time goes on...ETA: I spoke to a rep at MyChelle today to be certain that I'm using what is best for my needs in their skincare line and was told that their Perfect C serum is the most popular serum because people actually notice an obvious difference in their skin. When I told her that I noticed that the skin discolorations in my skin were less evident within just a few days, she thought it was due to the 17% Ascorbic Acid in it but said that she's heard some wonderful claims from this product. I was told that it's not suggested to use it anywhere near the eye area because this is so effective and the eye area is so delicate...I HAVE been using it in my eye area since I wanted it to 'do it's thing!' and I told her that I have been using and my eye area seems to handle it just fine but she strongly suggested that I don't for concern that it may too harsh for that delicate skin area.Last tidbit: According to MyChelle company, you CAN layer up to 3 of their serums and will benefit from all 3 of them. Any more they say won't get absorbed as well AND you'll end up with 'peeling dried serum' since it would be too thick. She said the key is to only use very little if you choose to layer - she said she only uses 1 calibrated pump of each serum since she prefers to layer them.***I DID beg for a lower price on this and / or a larger size for this since the size is the same as their eye gel yet the same price as other serums...she said she doesnt' know of any plans to do so but she would note it in their customer feedback area...I would think that if enough people asked the same, MAYBE they'd consider it?? We can hope, right?

Worth it but won't make you look like a model

Started using these products about 2 years ago and have been happy with all of the serums. They are pricey and I'm a product junkie, so when I run out I try other things. I always notice the best results after I go back to these products. I no longer use their face creams only because I found a better one from Lotus Moon's cherry blossom healing smoothe (very thick and greasy but changed the texture of my skin almost instantly. I have sensitive skin and rosacea and have never had a problem with the Vit C serum. It wont give you perfect skin only genetics can but I notice that my pores get smaller, black heads start popping out and skin tone (Im turning 40)is greatly improved.

PERFECT CREAM FOR PROBLEM SKIN

I have tried tons of lotions and creams that say they are oil free or wont clog your pores and every single one I've tried just makes my face more oily, more prone to break out and more frustrated. This product is great, I will make sure I'm never without it, it's not heavy and doesnt make your skin feel like there is a film covering it. It just the right amount of moisture that my skin needs......this may just be me but it kinda smells like b vitamins...(imagine that, there's vitamin b in it) which in my head makes me think that it's working. If you had tried to find a product that works and have not yet had success... please try this one you wont be dissappointed!
