A daily must have! by MK1234 from los angeles, ca on 2010-09-02 I use the night version of this one but during the day I use this tube on my wrinkles (that are not there anymore). This is how I keep my face smooth and younger looking. For a stronger SPF I use Visibly Even SPF 30. Also my face can not handle retinol twice a day, I have sensitive skin. My blotches and dark spots are gone and my forehead furrow is gone. I do hope that Neutrogena is not so silly and try to replace this one with the ageless intensives retinol. That one is horrible (I tried it)

After using Proactive for over a year, my skin became very dry (it is usually oily). My skin has also always had a very uneven tone which Proactive had no effect on. This moisturizer is the perfect combination of vitamins and moisture; my skin feels instantly revived. This product has also smoothed out my skin tone and keeps acne away even more so than the proactive moisturizer. I use it both in the morning and evening. One try and you'll be hooked, trust me!! This is better than the expensive creams found at department store counters.

I bought it because Dr Oz recommended a retinal cream to stop the signs of sun damage, and although I am not "wrinkle cream" age, I spend a lot of time in the sun, so I am worried about sun damage. On the Oprah website, they listed several that were recommended, and this was the cheapest and easiest to find, so I thought it would be the first I tried. I am so happy with the results, this is all I need to try. Right away, I noticed my skin looked "brighter" hard to explain, but that is the only way I can describe it. After about a week of daily use, my pores look smaller, and my face feels amazingly smooth. I feel like I can wear less make up. I don't have wrinkles yet, so I can't comment on that, but hopefully continued use will help prevent bad ones (I'm realistic, I know I'll get some, but maybe they wont be so deep)The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I feel that I need a bit more moisturizing on some areas of my face, so I end up using more that the pearl sized amount, maybe double. I dont think the recommended pearl sized amount is nearly enough for most people with dry skin.

Very moisturizing but not greasy! by L. Dalmau from NYC on 2009-10-04 When the temperature begins to drop the skin around my very sensitive eyes begins to get itchy and feel very dry. I am only 29 but I have had this problem now for about 3 years. Many so called eye balms end up being very greasy and running or smearing all over and/or don't work for me. I have also had a problem with eye creams stinging the skin around my eyes and causing little red bumps. This cream does none of those things! It is very moisturizing. Its texture is light and it has some iridescent light reflecting particles in to minimize the appearance of dark circles.I have dark circles due to allergies and this helps reduce the darkness of them substantially. I don't think it will get rid of them because I read that dark circles from allergies are not reversible but I will continue to use this anyway because of how great it makes my eyes feel and look. I purchased it at a discounted price but I would certainly spend full price on it if I could not longer find it for a discount.I'm not saying that this product will work for you because there are countless products that I have tried that received wonderful reviews and when I used them they did nothing for me but this one was a winner. I am falling in love with the Skinceuticals skin line. I also use their Phloretin CF which is expensive but worth every penny. I once read in a magazine that you have to spend your entire life wearing your face - showing it to the world constantly. So why not invest in the stuff that really works to keep it looking its best!

I will continue using the product as long as it lasts, but I honestly cannot say that I can tell a difference after 2 months. I have stopped using it in the mornings (unless I am not wearing makeup). When I use the eye balm and my under eye concealer, my eye makeup smears.

I have tried other products that are less expensive and more expensive and touted to be "Amazing", but I am telling you, this is the only one I have found that truly does diminish lines around my eyes and truly make crows feet virtually disappear. It is hard to find in NYC where I live, but I have never had a problem finding it here online. It is the ONLY thing that seems to smooth out the rapidly appearing wrinkles in my neck area. I have very sensitive skin, and this cream is non-irritating. It never leaves me splotchy or greasy, just smooth. When will companies learn to stop discontinuing their best products?

My frown lines were very deep. Note, WERE. I have tried MANY products to reduce fine lines and fade aging spots to no avail. So I got serious about researching ingredients that work. I am blessed with good skin, but the frown lines really aged me. Then I tried Neutrogena's Visibly Firm Night Cream. I call it BLUE MAGIC!! I am truly amazed! I'm still on my first jar and my frown lines are minimal now. My two quarter sized brown spots are GONE!! Any fine lines around my mouth and eyes are GONE!! My skin is very soft and translucent--I use no foundation now, only mineral blush. I've been mistaken for my 41 year old daughter's sister several times now. My only regret is that I didn't do before and after photos, because nobody would believe it! There are only a few products with this ingredient, and Neutrogena's is by far the least expensive. I have sensitive skin and had no problem. I only put it on at night. Started putting it on my neck, too. Also, GREAT on the back of your hands! Murad Resurgence Renewing Eye Cream by rtg from on 2010-07-08 One use of this cream made my eyes puffy for 3 days. I've used other Murad eye creams and had no problem. I am currently trying to get a refund from Murad. I do NOT RECOMMEND using this product. If you are compelled to try it, make sure nobody is going to see you for a few days in case you puff up like I did!

I've tried many products, eye creams even more expensive than this and none have done the job this has. My lines have dramatically been reduced. The cream is NOT greasy and sinks right in easily. Another hugeee plus is that it doesn't cause milia, the lil white dots that appear if you use a heavy moisturizer around your eyes. Some eye creams, especially the cheap ones, increase moisture with the wrong kinds of creams, causing these lil milia to appear. This doesn't happen with this lovely cream. Get this. You won't regret it.One downside is that I occasionally get this product into my contacts, which causes them to blur and become uncomfortable. Being more careful not to get it actually in the eye would probably solve that dilemma.

Fine lines are no longer viseable, darker areas under eyes and the morning puffy look is gone! I used more expensive lines, such as Chanel's Sublimage. This cream is as good or better and much less costly! This is a cream I will continue to use. The dispenser is well designed and no excessive cream is wasted. Being over 60 yrs and desert heat in Arizona can be brutal on the tender skin around eyes-- but with this cream you would never know it!

I've noticed a big difference in those tiny laugh lines around my eyes. Unfortunately I still have the dark circles but one problem is better than two. I will continue to use and make another purchase when I get low. It's worth it.

Burned the area around my eyes!! by R. stephens from california on 2010-05-06 Believe me, i know a good eye cream when I see one...and this is NOT it! It DOES open your eyes, because it BURNS them! The Vit C content of this stuff must be pretty potent, because the few times I used it, the area around my eyes wouldn't stop sizzling! After I washed it off, the same skin would be dry and flaky. I would never use this again.

Feels amazing, not sure if there are results...but tube sizes incompatible!! by Reviews on Amazon from US on 2010-07-30 I bought this recently, encouraged by the mail in rebate. I am one of those folks that is somewhat sceptical of more expensive creams (even though this at $20 is barely touching the premium market) as my mum and grandmother (a mere 94) both have amazing skin which is probably a combination of genetics, lack of sun (they live in the UK) and a lifelong use of Oil of Olay - hence this has always been my product of choice and I find it works well on my skin which can be a little dry!
I gave this a go and noticed the difference at once - on how smooth my skin felt, no so sure I can see any major line difference but I am not quite at that stage where I have many lines - just looking to be proactive!
However. Here is my issue - as another reviewer brought up, the tubes are designed to be used together - instructions state to use "a dime size" amount of the gray serum followed by the white lotion - but after about 10 days use the gray cream has all gone, leaving me with the white lotion that simply feels like a standard moisturizer with some SPF - I have plenty left but gone is the smooth feeling and quite frankly this does not feel particularly moisturizing! I am not so sure why they would design this system to be used together but not supply enough of one component.
Also the gray cream - while it feels great - feels a lot like those make up primers made by companies such as Smashbox and those sort of products are designed to have a topical effect - smoothing out lines for the time in which they are worn, but the effects go when the product is washed off...I am wondering if this is the same?
Honestly, this does feel really good and it is great to wear under make up, the SPF factor is good...but why the heck the lack of one component? This kills the usefulness for me

Good Products at a Fair Price by F. M. Pepoon from Roseville, CA USA on 2010-06-15 I admit I was skeptical, I've been using a much more expensive anti-wrinkle/lifting serum. Economic times being what they are, I needed to find something more reasonably priced. I've been using the Neutrogena products for two months now, and I find the results to be similar to the more expensive serum.What I like: SPF in product; anti-wrinkle treatment is as effective as similar higher-priced products; the feel of the products on my skin, which is very oily - these products do not make that worse as some creams can do; skin brightening results are similar to higher-priced products.What I don't like: the lifting properties do not have the same effectiveness as higher-priced products although I do see fairly good results; the one tube (instead of a pump) that makes it difficult to control how much product comes out.Bottom line: for the price, these are good products that work well on my oily skin. Even though I am not getting the same lifting results, I am going to continue using the system, because the difference is not that great.
Barely Discernible Results by Spudman from Pasadena, MD United States on 2010-06-14 Since my own skin is picture perfect and virtually impossible to improve, Mrs. Spudman agreed to try the Neutrogena Clinical Lifting System on her own face. I was an interested observer, photographer, and interviewer. At the beginning of the trial I took six close up photographs of the subject's face to compare to her face after treatment.Some thoughts of the volunteer subject:
"The product felt luxurious going on and seemed to make my face look smoother immediately after application.
Using three separate tubes is too much bother considering the final results."
"I don't like doing the Neutrogena treatment at night because some nights I'm just too tired and not in the mood." A true statement."The first tube and the second tube felt good on the skin. Unfortunately by the next morning the effects were gone"Invariably one tube is going to run out before the others. This happened to "us."After a little over three weeks, I took follow up photographs of the same face on the same subject and compared the second set of pictures to the first set. I also compared the first set of photographs to the actual face post treatment.Our conclusion - Very little if any difference or improvement was perceived after studying the photographs and the subjects face. We won't be buying this product unless it goes on sale for half price. Then maybe.

Too Harsh, caused peeling by Sharmeen Rizvi from San Diego, CA usa on 2009-07-27 I have used Murad products previously but this time I was very disappointed. The product caused excessive peeling, even when I was using it sparingly. When using Murad everyone should be aware that Murad will not accept their products back if purchased on Amazon. And in my case my 30 days are over with the DermaDr, and they will not accept this return. So, now I am stuck with a product that I paid $67 for but, cannot use!
