My skin has never felt/looked better

Very simply, I used to get at least a zit at a time, sometimes pretty big or nasty ones. But, since I've been using this product, that almost never happens. I've also got my wife, sister, and father to use it, all of whom now have much, and I mean much better complexions. The orange oils Burts uses are more gentle than the old acid or astringent based cleaners I used to use, so my face doesn't over-react and get even oiler like it used to after I washed it. It's also nice from an athlete's point of view, because I don't get dried out skin or feel that chemical burn that I used to when my face sweated. I'm sold and plan to stock up in case the product ever stops being made. Also, funny bonus, but I'm pretty sure the stuff is edible. There is nothing scary at all in the ingredients.

I have been buying this cleanser for years. It has a gel consistency. I squeeze about a quarter inch onto my fingers then wet with water, rub onto my face and rinse off. It cleans without drying and I love the fresh orance scent. I have been using this product for about 5 years. My skin stays soft and breakouts have become a thing of the past. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Waxy

I am a big fan of Burt's Bees in general. This product, not so much.With the orange oil in it, it smells fabulous. But it feels awful. The stuff is thick and waxy, not creamy at all. It's kind of hard to smear around on the skin without majorly stretching the skin because it's so thick and stiff. I could, perhaps, overlook that if it seemed to rinse clear, but it doesn't. It feels just like you'd expect after smearing wax all over your face - like you can't rinse it off because water just runs off of it.I found it to be very much not worth the trouble.

Businesses are so misleading these days. They must make an extra kick-a** version of their products and put it into samples then water down the rest to make more of the actual product. Then sell us junk. The sample I tried cleared my skin and was amazingly clean although it seems like the product is pure lard. I was impressed so I searched for the regular sized product and after using it broke out worse than ever. Makes you wonder how organic is this stuff and is there really bees and a guy named burt involved at all? Or just a clever advertiser...It's just not the same as the sample. Smells pretty good though. Instructions very vague (on all their products, it seems).

Great Facial Cleanser

I was heart broken when my favorite facial cleanser, Skinmilk, was discontinued. I'd been looking for a new cleanser ever since. Even though this cleanser is all natural (which I love!), initially, I had my doubts about this cleanser. I have combination to oily skin, and from the reviews I read, this cleanser works well on normal-to-dry skin. While washing my face with my hands, the cleanser felt oily (it doesn't lather), but once I used a wash cloth to wipe my face, I felt differently. The cleanser left my face feeling so soft and clean. And the orange scent is delicious. It doesn't leave that tight dry feeling on my face that I get when using other cleansers. What I also loved was that I didn't need to use a moisturizer. The cleanser was moisturizing enough. It leaves my face feeling great all day. In a nutshell, this cleanser is all natural, smells wonderful, leaves skin soft and clean, and moisturizes as well. There's nothing more I could want from a facial cleanser. This is my new daily cleanser.

The poppy seeds doesn't do much of a scrub, in fact it's so painful when they get in my eyes. I've got quite sensitive skin and the paste does sting a little bit when I use it. I'm not quite sure of this product. Better suited for very dry skin cleanser or to be used in dry regions.

Burt's Bees was recently bought by CLOROX.

Smells like lemon pie

This was the first facial scrub I tried from Burt's Bees, which is such a fantastic company. Their products are made from all natural ingrediants, are very high quality and many are comparable to more expensive products. This is a gentle face scrub with a soft, lemon pie smell to it. It leaves your skin moisturized and toned. The only complaint I have is that the exfoliating action could have been a little more intense, and also I did get poppy seeds stuck in my pores on a few occasions (not fun). I prefer Burt's Bees citrus facial scrub over this one for the aforementioned reasons, but it's still a good product.

When I hit puberty and started getting breakouts, my mom gave me this to start using daily. I used it as a toner, applying this with a cotton ball after washing my face. It has a great lemon smell, and it didn't dry out or irritate my skin at all. It removed a lot of dirt, excess oil, and makeup. It certainly helped a lot with my blemishes.

Product was delivered promptly. The product itself is very good. Very concentrated which makes it last longer. It doesn't leave your face as dry as other washes. It smells good too. I've used a lot of face washes over time, and it seems to me that this is the best one I've used so far.

Best Product Ever Used!

I have always had healthy skin until my early forties and found myself dealing with adult acne. As a teenager I never had acne, only occasional breakouts. As an adult it is embarrassing to be in the workplace or just in public and you have breakouts like a teenager. My son purchased Lamas Skincare for me as a Christmas present four years ago. I have been using the product ever since. And I am happy to say no more acne or breakouts. The product is healthy for your skin with no harsh chemicals. What prescription after prescription could not do for my skin, Citrus-C Facial Cleanser did! And it is a lot less in price. My skin has a healthy glow to it now. The product goes a long way as well.
