Rash!

I wish I would have read these reviews before trying this product, though I am not sure it would have made a difference--I probably would still have bought it. I have never had a reaction to a moisturizer or sunscreen or even make-up before, but while applying my third application of this I noticed the red rash on my cheeks that others have mentioned. I've used other Oil of Olay products with no incident, and I was actually trying to switch to this from the Neutrogena anti-aging product I had been using simply because of the name brand. Didn't work.Aside from the rash, I was also not a fan of the texture of this product--it was thicker and greasier than I had expected, more of a traditional sunscreen than a moisturizer. All over disappointing.

Be careful...

I applied this item as directed and it worked great everywhere -- except my cheeks, where it caused burning, irritation, and a very visible rash. My skin is not super sensitive and I've never once had a reaction to a moisturizer/sun screen before. I would STRONGLY suggest testing on a small area unless you're okay with risking walking around with a nasty rash for a couple of days. I have tried it again and it always burns in the same area but is fine everywhere else, not sure why.I understand that reactions vary by individuals, so I didn't think it would be fair to give this item one star. I don't believe it's the product's fault that my skin couldn't handle it, and like I said, it did work well everywhere else. I ordered other Olay products at the same time as this and have used them without incident.

unbelievable results

Started using this at a friend's recommendation, replacing a product that was about 4 times more expensive. Some aging spots have significantly faded and the moisturizing effect is even better than the other product from a salon. We'll see how it does with sun protection this summer.

Great product, great price

I have used everything, from Avon to Clinique, BioTherm, you name it I've spent a fortune on it. I have even tried Dermalogica. This product is WONDERFUL. It actually leaves my face feeling moisturized instead of dry and irritable. It cost 1/3 the price I was paying for moisturizer. Fragrance FREE - What a concept!! Great job Oil of Olay. I can now moisturize my face without my eyes burning and tearing for an hour afterward. May skin feels baby soft after I put this on it and it does not burn and itch, in the dry weather it brings great relief. I wake up in the morning and I cannot wait to put my daily moisturizer on.

Nice, working slowly

This was my first beauty treatment from Olay. I was a little concerned before buying and applying it. I applied it and result came about after for two weeks, my skin felt now a little lifted, no more losen skin specially on neck and close to eyes. I apply it daily before sleep, once a day.Comparing with other similar treatments, it looks a little expensive, but I subscribed from Amazon to get 15% off.

I have been using the product for a week now and I've noticed that my skin is very soft and supple. I put one whole pump morning and night because I use a medication that severely dries out my skin and the dry flakes are now gone. Only time will tell if it has anti aging properties, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Overpriced...underperforms

This product is actually a lotion, not a creme which I expected. Being a lotion and rather thin in consistency, you will have to use a lot more. This is especially true considering the fact that there does not seem to be a whole lot of moisturizers in it. I find my cheap Suave hand lotion moisturizes my skin better, and at about 1/50th the cost ounce for ounce.

I have used OLAY products since I was 16. Now I'm 42 and can easily pass for 30 not just because I was blessed with good genes:) OLAY products have played a role and UV defense regenerating lotion SPF 50 is no excepection. Most important is offers SPF 50 so I can go out with/without make-up and never have worry about sun damage=wrinkles ladies. It hydrates and provides the anti-aging nutrients my skin needs to both prevent and correct any damage, ie: wrinkles, crows feet, sun damage, protects against free radicals. I've been using this product for 2 months now and while the fine lines around my eyes and forehead remain I do see a difference in my skin. It feels alive, refreshed and healthy! It goes on smoothly and has a wonderful scent. My skin absolutely looks more youthful. I will continue using this product.

I am very pleased with this Olay product. I have only been using it for about a month, but with In that short amount of time my skin & over all appearance Is very hydrated, firm, & smooth. I am very impressed also with the fact that my skin actually looks more even In tone & has given me a new found confidence so I feel comfortable even without foundation on. This night cream seems to give my face a healthy glow & a little goes a long way. I put this on my face & neck every night & love waking up to beautiful soft skin!! Highly recommend this product, & for the quality in my opinion the price is fantastic!!!

No complaints..works well

Works well...my skin is usually rough from the day when I put the cream on at night. Overnight, my skin heals. It's great. The only annoying part is that it doesn't really "soak" into my skin. When I shower in the morning, I feel the cream sticky on my face. No big deal though..still a good product

"i almost feel guilty writing this review...as if I'm a traitor, somehow. i've been a rabid fan of when hope is not enough replenishing cream and, while i still use that at night (and it still works wonderfully), it has been completely de-throned as "my" moisturizer of choice. miracle worker is exactly what the name implies...it really does perform as promised. I have been using this product for many months and can say that I saw a nice difference after two weeks...and a dramatic difference after three months of consistent usage. my skin is brighter, unblemished, firm, and rarely ever feels dry. i've also seen the creases caused by squinting (I use to have bad vision) either soften or completely disappear. this product is very "wet" feeling when applied. you really only need to use a very small amount to cover your entire face. If the product makes your skin feel sticky, you've used too much! this product, although powerful, seems to be very gentle to my sensitive skin. it goes on with no burning sensation or discomfort whatsoever. the product is pricier than philosophy's other main moisturizers, but trust me, you get what you pay for. i have found the moisturizer for me, and I intend to never stop using this. and for those of you who cannot tolerate hope in a jar due to its odor, miracle worker has no scent!! if you want fantastic skin, give this a try

Burned my face

I am only 21 but I received a sample of this in the mail so I tried it out. I have very sensitive and fair skin and this burned upon application (My regular face moisturizer, Cetaphil cream does not burn). It also felt very watery and light. It's not greasy or heavy at all.........and it has a very unpleasant smell that I would be embarrassed if anyone close to me smelled on me. Either way that's about it. I just received a sample, I didn't intend on buying it or anything.

Sensitive Skin Beware

Though I love, love, love, Hope In A Jar, Miracle Worker just didn't work for me. If you have sensitive skin, think long and hard. It is rich and creamy and smells lovely. For myself, it caused a reaction: red, flushed and sore skin. I wish you well; for others it delivers, but for me, I'll stick with what I (now) know.

Made my face break out.

Very disappointed in this product. Yes, it's a great moisturizer, but I don't notice any other benefits from it. In fact, since I began using this and the night serum my skin has become worse. And I never had a problem with pimples before using this. Definately won't buy it again.

Wish it was unscented!

Based on the positive reviews for the 22oz size,I bought the gallon size. Wow, what a mistake for me! As soon as I received it I eagerly put a small amount on the back of my hand and rubbed it in...I wasn't crazy about the scent at first but thought it might get better....after about 20 minutes I finally gave in and washed it off because the scent was making me gag. It is very strong. Even if I liked the scent, I cannot imagine using this all over my body as it would be overwhelming in an elevator or other close environment. I know other reviewers loved the scent but I would caution you to try to find this product somewhere that you can test the scent before you buy. I am so disappointed! Does anyone know how to change the scent of a lotion???

This product was good for my sensitive skin, as it did not give me any reaction. Although I wanted it as a daily moisturizer with high protection. It is too thick to put on my face and it left me looking white! I looked ghostly, quite unflattering!

Best sunscreen ever.

I used it for 21 days under the sun and I didn't get tanned a bit. It doesn't leave the white color on your skin. It does not smell at all. I totally recommend it, but also recommend that you put moisturizer first, since it is kind of rough applying it to the skin without something that can help you move it.
