No Soap or Wx in this Shaving Gel by T. Dubbs from Ca. USA on 2009-01-16 This Skincare Shaving Gel is true to its claim, it is great for the face, creates a fine shave while rinsing off cleanly.
Most Gels clog poors or are difficult to rinse cleanly, hence skin issues but this Gel is very well designed.
Alternative scents would be nice as they expand the product hoping for its market share penetration.

By Far the Best Cleanser for My Oily, Sensitive Skin by Dominica from Midwest, USA on 2009-11-11 My skin is oily all over and very sensitive. It breaks out badly when I use most cleansers, so it's very hard for me to find one that my skin likes. After trying *49* (so not kidding) other cleansers when L'Oreal stopped making the one that I was using, I finally found this one. I cringed using the other cleansers on my face because they irritated it so much. My skin went "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" with relief when I tried this. I love it!I looked up the ingredients and found out that the cleansing ingredient in it is for very sensitive skin, so I'm assuming that's why it doesn't bother me (it turns out that it's the same one as in the L'Oreal cleanser that I was using). And I love the fact that it doesn't foam since foam/lather irritates my skin. The aloe vera and seaweed make my skin feel soft. What a waste of money trying all those other cleansers. I wish I'd know about this one at the start. Better late than never, I guess.
Zia Cleansing Gel by Donna C from NY on 2008-08-11 Skin type = Rosacea. Have been using it for years, and it's the only cleanser that has not irritated my skin.
Like it better than the old version by Amy Gfesser from Chicago, IL on 2008-05-19 I do not have sensitive skin, so this cleanser works well for me. I had very oily skin/acne as a teenager and into my twenties. I am currently 41 and have normal skin that can tend to be a bit oily; the Zia products for "normal" skin work well for me. This cleanser feels better on my face than the older version felt (i.e. smoother and silkier). I highly recommend this product!
Disappointing change in a great product by J. Buehrer from Michigan, USA on 2007-11-17 Zia has long been a high-end line of natural products, and I have become a devotee in the past few years. I looked long and hard for a good paraben-free cleanser before I found the Zia Basics fresh cleansing gel with sea algae, and I absolutely loved it. Earlier this year, Zia changed their product line to remove parabens from all the products and base them all on aloe. I bought the new version and was disappointed to find several new chemical ingredients. When I used it on my face, it burned my skin. I have taken it back, and stocked up on the old formula through online suppliers. I hope Zia comes back around - but until then, I don't recommend this product, particularly if your skin is at all sensitive, or you like to avoid alcohols in your facial products like I do.

The Foaming Gel & Toner is Step 1 & 2 - use day & night in the line... but keep in mind it is a system and needs to be used with the other products.Find a good doctor, get their opinion on which system you should use (dry skin, normal or oily), then compare and buy them from or through Amazon... I saved over $300.00 on all the products I normally use... can't beat the products or the service. And I love to comparison shop!!!After I had been using this line for a month I started receiving compliments on how good I looked, refreshed! Almost made me wonder what I looked like to them before! Even though I don't have oily skin, I find Clinique DDMG to be fresh and light. Best of all, it doesn't irritate my skin or have a heavy perfumey smell. I even use it on my hands because it feels good. This is a nice basic light moisturizer.

I use the seat covers in the bathroom to soak the oil from my face. It is terrible in the summer and it makes makeup look like mud on my face. I was surprised to find that even light creme moisturizers still have an oil base. And if I use no moisturizer at all my cheek area breaks out even more because my skin produces even more oil to compensate for how I dry it out through cleansing.This gel moisturizer stops my skins oil production by at least 50%. It is great. I also bought clinique pore minimizer T-zone shine control to use with it. On cold mornings I have to apply often to my cheek area and around my mouth because I don't produce as much oil when its cold and this gel is extremely lite.The 4.2 oz bottle is a great size because all it takes is one pump to cover your face. I am really impressed with clinique and will be looking into the same line for a winter moisturizer when it gets cold again.I totally recommend this product for my oily sisters!

Noxema for cleansing, witch hazel for toning and Pond's for moisturizing. I've saved tons of money over the years by only buying 3 simple products. I'm 63 and get comments almost every day regarding how youthful my complexion looks.
Recommend it by DC564 from on 2010-03-17 This was recommended on a travel blog, so I decided to buy it for an upcoming trip. I normally have oily skin that's somewhat dry during the winter months. The gel was light and absorbed quickly into my skin. I recommend it. Hopefully when I test it during the hot summer months, I'll get equally good results. I'm not yet sure if this will become my everyday moisturizer. I'm happy with this product, but there are cheaper basic moisturizers out there that are just a good if not better. I haven't found a favorite yet.
great for dry skin and some oily skin too by Rich from Seattle, WA on 2010-01-20 I am guy with dry skin plus forehead crease, so when I was looking for a wrinkle cream:Clinique Repairwear Deep Wrinkle Concentrate for Face and Eye the Macy's saleswoman gave me this as an under layer. My skin does get oily later in the day and in hot climate (LA). I still have the trial bottle, but after I am done, I will get the full bottle. I have used other dry skin creams which leave my face looking waxy or a wet look, but this one dry quickly like hand lotion. The other think I notices is that it absorb faster, other cheaper lotion after a few hour my face sweat or perspire and I can smell the lotion coming out, not this one, and no odor.I use to live in dry desert in NE Nevada that makes my skin dry up so fast and the water (shower) is hard, which leaves the skin harder too. Now I am in the Pacific NW near water with higher humidity, and softer water, I don't have to use this every day, more every other day. The price is higher then what I usually spend on lotion, but I guess it worth it.

The best shave you'll get out of a drug store by M. Haney from on 2010-03-02 Title says it all. Switched from Gillette Hydragel to this, world of difference. The number of cuts and nicks I get every morning was essentially cut down by 80% (still perfecting my technique), and my skin actually felt close to normal afterward. My one complaint is that it doesn't wash off easily, took about 3 minutes for me splashing cold water on my face (a wet towel would probably do it in seconds if you don't mind washing it afterward). But to my knowledge that's just a fact of life when using non-foaming gels.There's more expensive stuff online and in high end/specialty shops that will blow this out of the water, but this stuff is everywhere. If you're not willing or able to give up the convenience, IMO King of Shaves is the way to go.Oh, and another advantage with non-pressurized shaving products in general is not having to buy travel packs. Just buy any generic $1.50 container and squeeze some of this into it.
Fantastic with wet/dry shaver by dave from St. Louis on 2010-02-09 I bought this to use with a blade and wasn't happy with the performance. I've since switched back to a Norelco Cool Skin shaver and resumed using this product, omitting the lotion from the shaver. The resulting shave is extremely close and my skin is in its best shape in a long time.

It's great for morning use after a long night or anytime after significant travel. It has a cooling effect and a slight tingling sensation, and I noticed a markable change in appearance -- dark circles and puffiness around the eyes is reduced. Although it's more expensive than some alternatives, it lasts a long time because it only takes a small amount with each use.

Morning After Rescue Gel is correct! by jjs1138 from Dallas on 2009-02-07 I unwisely spent an entire night awake and partying when I had a late lunch date the following day. A first date at that. Needless to say when I was getting ready for my date it became rather apparent that I looked exactly like someone who had been partying all night; not a good way to show up for a date.
Good luck for me that there was a skin care shop in my building. I ran down stairs and asked if there was anything that could help my situation. The sales guy told me that the Rescue Gel was exactly what I needed and he was correct. The results were amazing. I have kept some on hand ever since.
Fabulous Product! by Holly Stone from Tallahassee, FL on 2008-01-28 I absolutely love Morning After Rescue Gel! I know it might seem a bit pricey for a little tube of face stuff, but it lasts for a long time - all you need is a tiny dollop. My skin looks and feels so much better when I use this, especially around my eyes and jawline. It makes my skin firm and smooth without feeling too tight. And just FYI, I am a female, so this is absolutely not just for men. :) I also have combination skin, and the gel consistency actually helps the oilier forehead/nose area to feel less greasy throughout the day. It also has a refreshing tingle when you apply it - really helps you feel awake in the mornings!
