Tingling sensation? How about straight up painful! by Logan K. from on 2010-07-05 Just used this product for this first time so I cannot yet comment on its effectiveness, however, I can comment on applying it. The bottle states that "you may experience a tingling sensation." That hardly describes it. For me, it was most certainly a burning sensation and quite painful. I can not bring myself to applying this daily. I might be able to muster once a week, but that's about it. The pain was nearly identical to pouring rubbing alcohol on an open cut. I didn't realize it and the bottle doesn't describe it, but there is clearly a large concentration of alcohol in this product (you can even smell the similarity between this and rubbing alcohol). And the burning sensation makes sense considering when I shave, I get at least a few nicks here and there (and that's with a top-of-the-line electric shaver). I just never expected the pain to be so potent. If you can bear some pain and burning when applying this product, it might just work but I'll have to use it some more to find out.

Believe the hype! by Mr Iain F Langridge from on 2010-07-06 If you're like me and doubt that any product could be effective against molluscum contagium, let alone one not on the radar of pediatricians and dermatologists, I am delighted to tell you that this product really works.
My 7-yr old had become very shy of having what is really on a moderate case of molluscum contagium, and his pediatrician were not really concerned (rightly I guess), since it was neither severe and is not dangerous long-term. But I didn't like that he was self-conscious at swimming, with other kids passing comment, and when another parent complained (one who should have known better), I resolved to solve it. The molluscum had not responded to any of the treatments, including the Aldara cream prescribed by an 'expert' pediatric dermatologist.

After seeing 3 pediatricians and awaiting an appt with a dermatologist, who I assumed would tell me the same thing " There is nothing you can really do, just let it run it's course," I was less then optimistic about any homeopathic oil but I was pleasantly surprised.

I still would end up with...technically they are ingrown hairs, but you and I know they really should be called a lot of things that cannot be written on a website kids might see. I've got three different tweezers, needles, and somewhere there is a landfill that is 10% bloody tissues I am responsible for.
