Obagi Healthy Skin Protection is simply the best quality protective cream I have found to use on my face...though you can use it on arms, chest ect.I was looking for a daily wear sunblock that did not make my skin look grey or greasy or cause me to break out. I work out of doors year round...this product works and my skin looks great. An added plus...the price was the best I have found so far even with factoring in shipping costs ...what's more...the estimated shipping was for ten days...I received my product in less than five days with normal shipping fee. I have used them all. Am using the Obagi system. After surviving skin cancer, this product soored a 2 out of 10 with 10 being the worst, for sunscreen protection. Is not greasy or white when put on the face. I will wear nothing else.

I previously used Obagi C RX and thought I'd try Obagi Nu Derm. The Nu Derm was heavier and greasier, not what I wanted or expected. I have normal to oily skin, so this product was not for me. I do however LOVE the Obagi C Rx and will stick with it as my moisturizer and sunscreen.

I have been using this product for over a month now. I get compliments on my skin. My fine lines are gone but what's even more amazing is that my freckles are gone! I have had freckles (real freckles,not just a few) my entire life all year long and for the first time ever they are gone! I didn't even know it was possible! That wasn't what I was intending to do, but regardless, this is a great product.

I have been shaving for about 3 years now, and my skin is very sensitive. When i began shaving i was plagued by razor bumps, ingrown hairs and pimples that formed in the next day or two. I tried so many products that helped a little but none as much as this. This stuff is truly great, I kid you not. Its practically a facial panacea. It works like many products in one. It is one of the best toners ive tried, it removes dirt sweat etc. gets rid of peeling skin by lossening it up, definitely stops razor bumps. And this is one of the best parts, it does a better job of clearing up pimples than anything ive tried, i'm not sure if they are aware that it can do that at the company. I recommend this product to all new to shaving, or anyone for that matter. Its fairly expensive, however if your careful about how much you use it will last a long time. I only use a second or so squeeze on a cotton ball and it covers my whole face amply, i even use the extra to cover small blemishes on my chest, back of my neck etc...

You won't break out using this product!

For years, I searched for suncreen that would not cause blemishes. I tried everything on the market that claimed to be oil free, not comedone forming etc. The cream-based suncreens caused break out while the gel-based ones (really alcohol-based) caused irritation, redness, burning and itchiness. Even the products recommended by my dermatologist failed. Finally, Obagi Nu-Derm was recommended to me by a nurse. She claimed that she had never received any complaints about this product...Well, I believe it is true! The product goes on as a light foamy cream. Although it does appear to be expensive, one only needs to use a very small amount to cover the area one needs to cover; It lasts forever! My only wish is that the product came in a higher SPF as I live in a warm and dry climate and am exposed to sun more than I wish I were.

I'm a 16 year old girl and have been using this product for a year now. I've had horrible acne since I was 12 and have never felt good about myself, and I've been bullied for my complexion often. I only use this product at night, not both morning and night as recommended on the package. When I first started using AcneFree, my acne actually got a bit worse for 2-3 months. I almost gave up but I decided that I might as well keep using it, as nothing else has ever worked. After 3 months my skin started getting significantly better, and I was noticing how much less acne I had every morning. After 4 months of using AcneFree, my skin is so much more clear. I feel much more confident about myself and people now compliment my much clearer complexion. After a year of use, my skin is still much better that it once was but I recently started using it both in the morning and at night because I can tell that the acne is attempting to act up again. If this change in routine can't tame it, I might switch to AcneFree Severe Acne Treatment System for more powerful treatment. I just think my skin has gotten used to the normal AcneFree. Yes, Acne Free does work wonders. It treats acne just as well as, if not better, than Proactive at half the cost. Unfortunately, there is a downfall: you have to use Acne Free RELIGOUSLY for it to work. I had been using the product for about a month and my skin was almost perfectly clear. I went 48 hours washing, toning, and lotioning my face only twice instead of four times and all hell broke loose! It took me a week to get my face clear again! Gahhh!Overall, a great product; I just wish it wasn't so time consuming. I guess you have to go the prescription cream route if you're looking for something to just apply and go.

AcneFree Ruined My Face

I hate this product!!! I am 14 years old and this treatment just helped my acne spread around. The first week, nothing happened. Then, the second week my face started peeling! But, I wasn't even using that much of the product. The third week my whole face was full of acne and still peeling. I was horrified. So I took pictures and noticed it just got worse and worse by the time I use it.Please help me, should I keep using it and wait for the results? Or should I stop?Please! My face looks horrible! Help me.

Dries out your skin, but works.

I was going to give this 3 stars because the cleanser and maybe the repair lotion too dried out my skin. Maybe it was everything, but definitely the purifying cleanser stripped all moisture from my face. My face was flaky dry, tight, and painful at times. It hurt, but I had no acne. I tried moisturizers, but maybe if I had bought a moisturizer that was more powerful and used it twice a day it would have brought my face back to normal. I don't know. I'm tempted to try this out again since it worked before I just stopped cuz it made my skin dry. I am using a prescription med. but it's not working anymore I believe, I'm breaking out and have been ever since summer so that would be 3 seasons I had almost clear skin. The perscription didn't get rid of all the acne, about 90-95 percent of it, which is good enough, right?So that is why I'm tempted to use this again, it will def dry my skin out, which is not fun when you can't move your face easily without pain. Maybe it could work, but Benzoyl peroxide ruins my face, dries it out, makes me red, but does get rid of pimples. Well Benzoyl peroxide isn't for me, and AcneFree contains this in 2 or all 3 of the steps in the system! Which is not good, for me at least.I heard about AcneFree sensitive kit for people with sensitive skin and can't handle the original formula so I'm extremely tempted to try that out since my skin perscription isn't working right now and school is gonna start and I don't wanna start High school with nasty skin!!! So i'm willing to run over to walmart and try out the sensitive kit.Overall I give this 4 stars because if it did not dry out my skin, this would have easily been 5 stars. But I'm not giving it 3 because it did work, but there's one MAJOR trade off, dry skin, or acne? At least for me, that was the options with this kit. Still I loved it and you can love it too, if you skin can handle benzoyl peroxide then try this out. You'll probably love it.(My skin is combination skin (oily T zone normal face overall) and my skin isn't really sensitive but when Benzoyl peroxide is in the picture, yes it is!! So thats my background, and I've had acne since 6th grade so about when I was 11 years old. I'm 14 & a half now. and I have acne scars that are bigger than the average freckle but aren't like puddle size. I have tried everything except for Stridex, Proactiv, Max Clarity, and a few others like The Wave but that is it.) If Sensitive kit in AcneFree don't work, I'll have to head over to Max Clarity or see my doc.

Please be sure to test this product on a small area first. I have had a severe allergic reaction this product within 36 hours of first use. My face, neck and chest are full of red, itchy lumps. If I could give it no stars I would.

i was looking for a less-heavy nighttime lotion to assist with everything this serum says it will assist with and i have not been disappointed! after using it for only a week (just at bedtime) i noticed improvements. after two weeks, improvements were pointed out to me by others. apparently this can be used both morning and night, however i find that i like the roc lift serum for day use. either way, this is definitely worth the purchase.

Greatly disappointed, have been using obaji products for years, thought I try to save sum money and not get it from my esthetician, bad mistake! If you know obagi prods they have lot #s this bottle didn't, suds that rinsed down my face burned my eyes and in using the product for 2 weeks my skin went from glowy and brilliant to ruddy and groose. Learned my lesson and will not buy from them again.

I really like the Obagi products. My dermatologist started me on the Obagi treatments about two months ago. This cleanser is Step 1 of the treatment. It is just as it says, gentle cleanser, and very refreshing. Great product and great price. The prices on Amazon are far less than what you pay at your dermatologist office. This product was recommended to me initially by my facialist at The Sally Hershberger Face Place in Manhattan's Meat Packing District. I was told it was an excellent cream for moisturizing and for treating signs of pre-mature aging (wrinkles). I bought my first tube, used it for about 8 weeks and was very pleased with the results. Shortly thereafter I received a gift certificate for the Ohm Spa on 5th Avenue in Manhattan and booked a facial. The facialist at Ohm Spa asked me about my regular skin care routine and when I mentioned my use of Dermalogica's Skin Smoothing Cream she told me it was an excellent product and shared that she personally used it twice daily as a regular moisturizing cream. The Ohm Spa facialist went on to say that I should continue my established skin care routine as it was clearly working very well and my skin had a healthy and fresh glow.Based on my experience with the product and two endorsements from excellent facialists in Manhattan, I would certainly recommmend Dermalogica's Skin Smoothing Cream to anyone fighting dry skin or pre-mature aging. While a 3.4 ounce tube can cost up to $65 at spas in Manhattan, I was able to purchase the same tube of cream from Queen Bee Supply on Amazon for just under $40.
