Best Skin Firming Face Products: Natural foods is the only way to go
The truth is: the best skin firming product does not have to face the newest line of facial cleansers, or moisturizers or anti-aging creams that openly promotes itself on the line. In fact, many of them are harmful skin and may even accelerate sagging skin, lines furrow deepening and skin look much older before their time.
Also, really would have to wait long given the promises that accompany effusive Wonderland and the expensive price tags attached to these products come with, but the results still leave much to be desired. Pat your skin dry gently after, and thus leave to breathe so your skin after treatment.
3. Essential fatty acids like Omega 3
Not all fats or oils are bad for the body. In fact, Omega 3 fatty compounds are known to be a good source of vitamins and minerals, building collagen.
Oily fish such as salmon and tuna is a very good source of Omega 3 natural basis, but you may wish to prepare their meals from fresh sources. Canned, smoked or frozen fish only have a mild flavor, but it has lost most of their nutritional value.
Other sources of essential fatty acids are the avocado and nuts such as almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews and pecans.

Well... it's a bit hard for me to say if this product works or doesn't work. The lid would not screw on tightly and the threads were off no matter how much I tried to tighten it. I gave it to 3 different people to tighten it and none of us could get it on tightly as if the lid threads and the bottle didn't line up correctly. I had an airline to catch and did the best I could before putting the bottle in the little plastic bag for security. Long story short... I arrived at my destination and my brand new EXPENSIVE eye cream was a huge mess all over the bag. It spilled everywhere and I lost most of it! I was so ticked off! You would think the designers of the packaging would put more attention into it! Very upset about wasting all of my money.

I love this stuff! I am not a big fan of spending tons on beauty products, because usually they don't work any better than what you get at CVS, but I have to say that in this case, Dr. Perricone is worth the splurge. It really isn't all that expensive since a bottle lasts a really long time (you only need a small amount). The only other "pricey" thing I use is a prescription retinol which also lasts a long time, and that seems to be all I need. I use the Activator in the morning, and the Retinol in the evening.I'm 43 and have been using the Advanced Face Firming Activator for a couple years...LOVE that it's so highly discounted on Amazon compared to Sephora or Perricone direct! While I can't really say for sure that it drastically "Firms" my skin (hard to say since I don't know what my skin would be like without it at this age), I can say for sure that it seriously improves the texture of my skin, and my pores (I've always had grainy texture and really enlarged pores and this really makes a difference on both). I have really oily skin and this seems to help with that also, even though it's not listed as one of the benefits in the description. Some other reviewers have mentioned that they don't like the smell, but I like it. It's more "herbal" than anything if you ask me...plus, the scent goes away after a minute or two anyway! I know everything doesn't work for everybody, but I do highly recommend this product!
Expensive but effective

I'm in my mid-50's...and I've used this product daily for a couple of years now. After trying most of the other similar "firming" products, I found this one the most effective in progressively improving the firmness of my skin, even lifting the general contour, especially along my jawline.It's pricey...but worth the investment.

I'm a 25 year old male professional student living in New York City.About Perricone's Advanced Face Firming Activator:
I heard about PerriconeMD from a male colleague who receives compliments left and right from women in New York.
I purchased the Advanced Face Firming Activator (59mL/2fl oz) directly from Amazon for $85.50 which is a great discount from $120 off Perricone's main site. I have been using this product since May 18 (3 weeks) and have received compliments on my skin. I compared before and after photos of my skin after 1 week, 2 week and 4 weeks of use and noticed a big difference and improvement.Before applying the AFFA (Advanced Face Firming Activator), I use a deep facial cleanser with white tea from Origins. Afterwards, use only one pump into the palm and spread it in a circular motion with the other palm and apply it onto your face. One pump should be sufficient. Apply to the hairline and behind the ears down along your mandible. The AFFA may smell fishy to certain people but I find it pleasant. Remember to apply this in the morning only and use the StimulCell or Cold Plasma right before going to bed. I also apply a moisturizer (from Origins) on top of the AFFA. I've taken before and after photos of my skin and I too have noticed a difference. My face appears tighter but doesn't feel tighter, regardless I'm VERY happy with the results.In addition to these products I also use Skin Laboratory's Glycolic 35% Level 1 Skin Gel Peel (purchased from Amazon) as well as the 8 (of 10) recommended supplements from Dr. Perricone himself. They are as follows:
- Omega 3 Fish Oil
- Alpha Lipoic Acid
- Astaxanthin
- Carnitine
- Acetyl L-Carnitine
- Conjugated Linoleic Acid
- Coenzyme Q10
- Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE)
The 2 I left out are Chromium and Gamma Linolenic Acid.If you are traveling out in the sun and are not allergic to SPF, apply sunblock on top of the AFFA. If you are allergic to SPF (like I am), try your best to stay under shade and not under direct UV exposure.Overall with all these products, my skin appears smoother, more radiant and youthful. With the results I've noticed, I would definitely recommend the Advanced Face Firming Activator. Even at $85.50, many will consider it still costly but think about the long run, your skin is worth it.

When one is in one's fifties, just about every product that promises firming, toning, and pore minimizing results looks attractive. I've tried them all, regardless of price. This one is pricey but effective. I noticed an immediate result, and like another viewer, I can tell the difference if I do not use the product. It has a lovely scent, a creamy texture and does not irritate my highly sensitive skin. Retin A is worth it because it is a proven performer and we know it works. This does too.

When I ordered this item I thought it might be fun to try for myself, but realized its claims were aimed at a face 'older' than mine.So when my mother came to town, I had her give it a go.First, I have to note the directions for this are ridiculous.It begins by saying one should put the serum on for five mornings and use the mask for five nights, but this is quite ambiguous as to whether you should use the serum for five days before the mask or not.My mother tried the serum for five days, then did the mask for five days.At the end of it, I admit her fine lines and wrinkles did look smoother. Her face looked more hydrated if I had to put a word to it.Overall, if you're looking for a 'pick me up' in a box for under $30, this might do the trick.Here's what my mother had to say: Following the direction to use the product never indicated that I needed to wash my face. So I assumed I should before applying the product. First 5 days I used the ProX serum and the next 5 day I used the mask in the evening. The mask was invigorating and really moistened my skin. I have noticed a gradual change in the disappearance of the facial lines and am still using the ProX serum on a daily basis.

I really liked this product. Nromally I don't put a lot of creams or serums on my face because I always feel it makes my skin more oily than when I started. When I applied this product, it immediately felt like my skin was tightening. Once I rinsed my face, my skin felt fresh and soft...not oily at all! I would definitely use this product in the future!
Masks - useless; Serum - OK

This product just didn't work for us.There was just no change in skin "tightness" or any other noticeable improvement in face after completing the full course of using masks. That was just a wasted effort.A prolonged use of serum seem to have some beneficial effect on the skin around the eyes. For all we know, the improvement might just be a wishful thinking.We will DEFINITELY not purchase this product. Not recommended.
not easy to use and the mask is a pain in the bumm

I love Olay products and have been using them since i was a teen, but this product is not real user friendly. The mask is difficult to use and the thing is cold the whole time.
I do feel a differance with the product, you know it is working, but it just seems too inconveinant and a waste of alot of product to be something that would be regularly bought...
I give this a 2.8...to 3.. just becasue it is olay.
A good moisturizer but Moderate not Intensive Firming

This is what my wife had to say in regards to this product:I have very sensitive skin and was concerned that I would have problems but this product didn't cause any skin sensitivity or problems for me. As far as effectiveness for skin tightening, I would say the product is moderately effective. I didn't notice much reduction of the look of expression lines.If I was just judging this product as a moisturizer, it worked great and really hydrated my skin. I don't think any product can cause intensive firming and make me look significantly younger. But, using this product (or any other good moisturizer) regularly and taking care of your skin will keep your skin well hydrated and minimize worsening of wrinkles over time.The masks were inconvenient. They aren't effective at treating the areas where expression lines are around the mouth and eyes because that is, of course, where the holes are. So, the mask is virtually ineffective at reducing expression lines anywhere except on the forehead.
Occasionally, I had problems with keeping the moisturizer out of my eyes while using the mask. The moisturizer burned and irritated my eyes and I had to occasionally wipe it out of my eyes with a tissue.But, other than those inconveniences, I thought the masks were very soothing and were nice to use for stress reduction and to relax.I would purchase this product again if it was just the moisturizer without the masks and priced around $20 or less.

You won't break out using this product!

For years, I searched for suncreen that would not cause blemishes. I tried everything on the market that claimed to be oil free, not comedone forming etc. The cream-based suncreens caused break out while the gel-based ones (really alcohol-based) caused irritation, redness, burning and itchiness. Even the products recommended by my dermatologist failed. Finally, Obagi Nu-Derm was recommended to me by a nurse. She claimed that she had never received any complaints about this product...Well, I believe it is true! The product goes on as a light foamy cream. Although it does appear to be expensive, one only needs to use a very small amount to cover the area one needs to cover; It lasts forever! My only wish is that the product came in a higher SPF as I live in a warm and dry climate and am exposed to sun more than I wish I were.

Stains clothing, burns eyes: what else could a girl want?

After using this product and experiencing stained clothing & pillowcases, I wrote to the company. The response from Johnson & Johnson was dismissive: "All of our products are designed and manufactured according to strict specifications in order to offer superior performance under a variety of usage conditions. During normal usage of the product it is very unusual for any type of staining to occur, and we apologize for your experience. However, due to the large number of domestic and imported fabrics and fibers it is not always possible to guarantee a non-staining product. The above product is not usually tested to see if it will stain various materials since the product normally would not be exposed to these items. You may wish to consult the manufacturer of the item directly or have it dry cleaned." Their product stains 100% cotton fabric, for crying out loud. When a company gets too big, they can afford to treat their customers like this. I'll do my best to avoid Johnson & Johnson products from now on. Burts Bees, here I come! :-)

This is a great product. I live in the south and you know what that can do to your skin. I'm a senior and have dry skin and of course wrinkles. Aveeno has moisturized my skin and seems to have a firming result. I would not do without it. I love it!
Mediocre--Try Something Else

This product beads up if you put on too much. It does not blend evenly into my skin--I put it on before bed and there is still residue on my face the next morning. I have used other Aveeno products in the past and have not had these issues, so the problems are specific to this moisturizer. I have been using this for about a month now and have not noticed any change in the small creases around my eyes and lips, so I am not sure how effective the wrinkle reduction claims are. I would try a different product if you are in the market for moisturizer with an SPF that also reduces lines. I have tried Olay products in the past but they burn my face. Neutrogena products do not moisturize properly and leave me with dry skin (I have fair skin that is naturally dry.) I have ultimately decided that I need to splurge and buy professional moisturizers from somewhere like Sephora.

I've always had a problem with dry skin especially my face. I don't have an acne problem, but my skin tends to get so dry that it 'flakes' off in certain areas of my face esp. my nose and cheeks. I've tried MANY different products from drugstores, department stores, and even MK products, but nothing has had favorable long-term effects. I decided to try Burt's Bees Naturally Ageless Night Creme based on the reviews I read here on Amazon as well as on the company's website. I was also surprised to see Burt's Bees products listed on Macy's website. I'm very happy I decided to try this product. My face looks and feels hydrated. Like others mentioned, the cream is absorbed fairly quickly into the skin and doesn't feel oily. The smell is a bit weird, but other than that it is great! I recently ordered the day cream and can't wait to start using that too.I will definitely purchase this product again and recommend it to those with dry skin. The product is great and the price is reasonable. Other places had the same product going for 24.99. I found a better deal here on Amazon, but I would be willing to pay 24.99 if I had to.

I have used the cream once; I can't use it again. It smells like beer. It makes me sick smelling it on my face. As soon as I put it on, I had to wash it off. What a waste of money

I have sensitive, oily skin prone to breakouts and have never been able to use a moisturizer without breaking out. This product worked wonders on my skin and I didn't have a bad reaction. There is so much more life in my skin. I also really love the night serum, it's perfect for under your eyes and across your forehead.
