Simply the best

This is a fabulous product. I tried it about six months ago and would not be without it. When the jar got low, I found myself trying to get the least little bit left out. My skin looks fantastic--really unbelievable. I used to get DHC skincare products all the time but am phasing this out to go to all Avalon products. Highly recommended.

This is better than all the expensive ones I have tried

I started using this product when I just did not want to spend another 45.00 for my usual Origins face cream. I was skeptical at first but when I found out that it not only has Vitamin C but White Tea too, I was willing to give it a shot. Both are wonderful topical antioxidants and even Origins could not offer both in one product.That was over a year ago and I have not gone back. In fact, I use the entire line of Avalon Vitamin C now. The cleansing milk, facial serum, balancing toner and this cream. My skin absolutely glows like never before, my dry-as-the-desert skin problem is resolved, I never have breakouts and I look forward to my regimen every night and morning.Oh! The scent of this product is great. It is a clean citrus smell that does not linger too long - just perfect for feeling refreshed.Great stuff.

This is all I use. I want a product that is more like lotion so I it is gentle on my face. I have used it for several years since I first used it on a trip in Vancouver Canada. When I came back, I had trouble finding it until I saw it in a health food store except it was so expensive compared to the price in Canada. It is a good deal on here.

Best shaving product ever!

We have been using this product (in other scents as well as the lavender) for several years now. I have never found a better shaving product. When I do have to use something else, I almost always get razor burn whether the razor is new or not. It works great in the shower and doesn't just run off down the drain. It is very moisturizing. My husband has very sensitive skin and this stuff works so well for him. He only shaves once or twice a week to avoid having a bad rash and even with shaving infrequently, if he uses other shaving products he has problems. It takes a little getting used to if you normally use foams. It does not lather much, but don't take that to mean there is something wrong with it!

Inexpensive, more natural, more environmentally conscious shaving cream

Works great, the bottle lasts a long time, and I'm not using pressurized metal cans (in fact, I can recycle the bottle). It also helps that it smells great, feels natural and provides enough lubricant. It is a little messier (drips) than the chemical foams of most shaving creams but it isn't a problem.

The pump is awful. I couldn't get it to work, and finally, my husband gave it a try and got it going. Product is absolutely wonderful; the pump is really horrid.

As good as it gets

I have a tough beard, and am always looking for anything that eases the discomfort of repeatedly scraping my face with a blade trying to get a good shave. While I've never found the magic lubricant that makes the blade glide unfelt over my skin while the hairs disappear, this ranks up with the best shave creams I've used, and at a reasonable price. (It's hard to trust old memories on this sort of thing, but if I've used better it has been products no longer around or gifts of small containers of products not readily available.)It's pretty basic stuff, really. No odor, spreads easily after extraction from a convenient pump bottle, and offers good lubrication. Be sure to wet your face first and keep the blade wet, as this cream is not oily, and will dry out on you. But if you work with it it does the job well.

I use this in the shower with a shower mirror. Lathers great, nice faint scent from ingredients, economical. I use a double edge razor, and this gets a top rating at a site for D.E. shaving.

Amazon Prime is a RIP OFF! That said, this product is great

This is absolutely one of the best shaving products I have ever used, and I've tried many of them because I have a coarse (not thick) beard, and sensitive skin. This product is silky smooth and makes it very easy to shave. I've even used the very expensive Kiehl's Ultimate Brushless Shave Cream, and while that is a very good product, I believe the Kiss My Face product to be superior.This product is sold on Amazon two different ways, direct from the manufacturer for $17.98 + shipping ($5.82), and directly from Amazon for $23.85 with free shipping if you have Amazon Prime (an $80/year membership). You're right if you noticed that the Amazon price is almost exactly the same as the other supplier, but shipping is already part of the price.What gives Amazon? I'm not getting any special discounts or reductions in shipping costs by subscribing to Amazon Prime unless I purchase so many things from Amazon (which feature Amazon Prime) that I make it up in volume. That means I have to purchase at least 13-14 items from Amazon which feature Amazon Prime shipping to make it effective. What a RIP OFF, Amazon! The least Amazon could do is reduce the pricing of items a couple of dollars by means of its enormous purchasing power and make it useful to purchase from Amazon instead of gouging us.

This is the best product I have ever used (and smelled!) to shave with. I've also tried the vanilla and peach, but this is my favorite scent. A little bit (the size of a dime) goes a long way and lathers nicely. I get the smoothest and closest shaves, and it always rinses clean too! Yes, it is a bit pricier, but you don't need nearly as much as those "common drugstore" brands. Plus, it comes in a plastic recyclable pump container, not the kind that will leave a rust ring in your shower. Try it and experience the difference!

I used to be a firm believer in spraycan shaving gel until I tried this stuff. You simply take a few drops of it, lather it up and put it on your face. It really makes it much easier to shave and without any irritation or redness. Gives you a very nice slick and close shave. Buy this stuff immediately!

I've always used those gels in the metal bottles, and also used shaving cream. All of those are decent but this product works very well; it's almost like a lotion and works great. This stuff makes shaving easy because it keeps a slick surface on the face even after multiple swipes with a razor. The only issue I've found with this is that it takes awhile for the cream to lather up; you need to lather it by yourself and it can take 20-30 seconds for the lather to build up.

Excellent performance

This is an outstanding cream, performs as good or better than the more expensive imports. Lathers very well with a brush and the lather is very dense and slippery.The price is good too considering you get 11oz per bottle.I wasn't crazy about the scent but that's purely personal preference. I liked the scent and I like that it doesn't linger so it won't clash with aftershaves, but I just find it a bit too sweet in the mornings. Again, not a huge issue but next time I'll get the unscented version.

Very good cream for my sensitive face

I bought this cream on a whim after hearing good things about it. I have sensitive skin and often get bad skin irritation (red splotches and bad razor burn) from shaving. This product is a very moisture rich cream that lathers well and helps protect my face. To me the vanilla smell is a little strong and artificial smelling but it could be a lot worse. A little Noxzema as a pre-shave face prep combined with this cream makes for a great shave.

I've been using Kiss My Face moisture shave for a while and love it. I usually get the unscented moisture shave, but I thought I'd try something new. This smells exactly like pure vanilla extract to me. I don't know why they call it "Vanilla Earth", because there is no "earth" smell too it. It's not musky, it's pure vanilla. I love the smell and it works great!

Not a shaving product.........it's a cream

I really like the Patchouli Kiss My Face bath and shower gel and thought this would be a wonderful addition. Unfortunately this is not a lathering cream, it is just a moisturizing product being advertised as a shaving cream. It smooths on your legs like a cream and then when you try to shave it off, the shaver slips and slides out of your hand! I guess it would be okay for moisturizing but it is horrible for shaving. Very disappointed. Unfortunately I bought the four-pack and now am stuck with three other bottles.

Best shave I have found

Kiss My Face is by far the best shaving cream/gel I have ever tried. Other creams and gels leave my face sore, red, and stubbly. Not KMF, though. It is extremely slippery. My razor, therefore, just seems to glide over my face and through my beard. The blade does not drag on the skin or scrape it. Nor is KMF so thick as to interfere with the work of the razor blade by clogging it.It may take a bit of getting used to, though, because Moisture Shave is not a typical shaving cream or gel. It dispenses from a pump bottle more like thick handsoap than shaving creme. It usually takes four or five pumps to get the right amount for a smooth, comfortable shave. As I have never had much luck lathering the product in my hands I just smooth it onto my face then work it up into a lather.
