I started taking this a few months ago and it seemed to work as stated. My problem with it is that it fooled my body into thinking it needed to start my menses-which it had been over 14 years since menopause! Stopped taking the pills and the following month no more menses.

I have been using this product for about 4 months buying it over-the-counter at various places like WalMart & other grocery stores. It is very expensive this way. I decided to check Amazon for price and if you buy just one it is about the same price as over-the-counter purchase, BUT if you set up to order it every 30 days on Amazon you get 15% off. That sold me since I use it all the time. I recently ran out and didn't take it for 3 days and my old problems came back which was severe migraine headaches caused by diarrhea. When I use Phillips Colon Health capsules once each morning with breakfast my movements are more normal and most important no more headaches! I can't live without this stuff. So from now on I am soon to set up with Amazon delivery every 30 days and get a 15% break in the price and free delivery. Thanks Amazon!

Phillips' Colon Health Probiotic Supplement 30 Capsules.I have been using this product for about two years and find it to be of excellent quality. I've had colon surgery and had problems with gas, bloating, diarrhea. Phillips Probiotic capsules have evened out the episodes and made them less severe. I strongly recommend this product for anyone who has similar problems.

I have been taking this product for about 6 weeks now, and it has helped tremendously.I inherited a sensitive stomach from my mother, and have suffered from bloating and gas and far back as I can remember, which has been getting worse as I get older despite having a much healthier diet than when I was a teenager. Stomach, intestinal, and digestion problems can be very complex, so this product cannot be considered a cure-all "miracle drug"...other steps may need to be taken to find what works for you. I kept a food and "how I feel today" journal for a few months, and while this was difficult and somewhat annoying to do extensively, it gave me a good start. It made me realize things that I had thought were harmless were bloating me like crazy...eggs, apple skins, and certain kinds of tea were among the culprits.So, adding this product was a great compliment to feeling better. As many other reviews stated, it did take about two and a half weeks for me to see a difference, but at that point things started to "level out". Before taking this I had bouts of constipation followed by diarrhea all the time, and my system seemed to be all over the place. After taking this I started to get more normal, regular bowel movements. After about 3 weeks of taking one a day, I had upwards of two or three normal bowel movements a day, and it has since been 1 a day or so. I no longer feel any irregularities and feel much better.So along with other healthy changes, this product has done a world of difference for me. As I don't take much if any medication, I was more comfortable with taking this than any sort of laxative, colon cleanse, or anything of the sort. Long-term digestive issues cannot be cured by an overnight "quick-fix", so my advice would be to give it a try and be patient, and it is likely your overall health and comfort will benefit greatly.

After a bad bout of acid reflux disease, I started experiencing cramping and bloating after almost every meal. It felt as if I couldn't digest food properly. My doctor recommended probiotics and a friend recommended this particular brand. I was a little apprehensive at first because after reading reviews for various probiotic products, it seemed like everyone's stomach microflora is different, may or may not mesh well with the probiotics, and it's impossible to know in advance whether a particular supplement will work; some people even report worsening of their problems after taking them. Not me though--two days after I started taking this product, all the stomach discomfort is gone!

Phillips is better than either Activia or Danactive. Activia gives you gas. In addition Phillips is a capsule, can be carried overseas, does not need refrigeration and costs less.

Okay but not if you have IBS - C

If you have digestive problems that involve chronic constipation such as IBS-C, then I am afraid that this product will not do the trick. I have been taking this for a week because I ran out of another pro-biotic that worked very well and it was not in stock at the store when I needed it. So, I tried this instead. I'm still waiting for it to work but I will have to wait until I can get what has worked for me before (pearls).

Works better than Yogurt with Probiotics

I have been using Yogurt for a few years and I am lactose intolerant, so it has been a hassle. Using Colon Health, I avoid the lactose problem and it seems to settle my digestive system very well.

An expensive placebo?

Glucosamine chondrotin is not an FDA approved treatment for osteoarthritis, as it has been tested and failed to demonstrate effectiveness. Hence, its packaging as a supplement. It is, however, a medial treatment in Europe and prescribed by doctors. My doctor told me to try it for my knee pain. I do have less knee pain now after a couple of months, but I've also lost 25-30 pounds and now walk 7 hours a week. So, I don't know if this is helping at all, but I'm going to keep on taking it for now. With subscribe and save, it is at least somewhat affordable.

My doctor recommended this brand and said it was the purest and would not upset my stomach. There are other brands that are cheaper, but this is the one to take. I have been using this brand for a long time, and I feel much better. The company got it to me quickly which was nice. Also, through Amazon, I paid less than any of the other drug stores charge. I began this treatment with a very skeptical eye. The cosequin was prescribed by my othopedic surgeon for my knees and shoulder problems. It has been now a little over a month since I began it and I am AMAZED that is really has made a difference. It was an expensive supplement but I felt if it worked it was a much cheaper alternative to surgery and i am a believer now and have it on subscription!!

Has a box of these that had expired in 06,(not from Amazon) but took em anyway. I have been fairly healthy and with the onset of h1n1 and regular flus and colds I figured I had better keep it up. They seemed to have worked before,so now they must be extra wonderful as these are more current. I recommend them even for a non-diabetic as all the vitamins your take will enhance your health and feelings of well being. The positive attitude is just as helpful as the Vitamins. It is a good blend of Vitamins and probably don't need any other suppliments. is sugar-free and Has Lutein for eye health too.

Wished they were more consistant in size

I normally can take a handful of pills at one time with no problems, but not so with these. There are two oblong shaped pills and four round ones. The round ones are so small they sometimes roll around in my mouth and it is a real chore to swallow them. I simply cannot take all six at one time, so I break them down into three sets of two. This works, but I sure wish it was one big vitamin or a couple of vitamins.That being said, I'm sure there's a reason they are the way they are, and I can certainly tell a difference with taking them.

Didn't work for me

I've always used the yogurt, and I always had very good results. But, I forgot to eat it a good number of times. Thought I'd try the pills, I never have a problem with forgetting my pills. But, this type of probiotic did not work for me. I faithfully took a pill each day, but I was severely bound up by the end of two weeks. I went back on the yogurt, and within two days, I was regular again. Sorry, Align, I tried. I advise anyone who has not used this to try it, it may work for you. Each body is different.

good for this celiac patient

My gastroenterologist highly suggested that I use this when he thought I had IBS. We learned at some point that I was in fact not IBs but celiac disease (common thing there). I can tell a difference when I'm not on it and I accidentally get some gluten and when I am. The reaction is so much easier to handle and get through. I went from bed ridden to being ablo to tough it out for a couple of hours! I religiously take this daily. And if you have a flex plan it is covered!

My GI doc said for me to take this probiotic and I was not sure I wanted to invest the money in it. He said " not all probiotics are created equal". I took a 1 week sample pac from him and gave it a try. I have been diagnosed with Celiacs disease and have had problems with bacterial over growth even though I am on a gluten free diet. This product has helped me with cramping and diarrhea caused by the over growth. It took around 1 month for me to notice it working on my gut but I am happy with the results. The price is worth it for me I also found that If you order it through Amazon on auto schedule it will knock of %15 of the cost. I will continue to take it as long as it is available.

Did not work for me

I tried this product for 4 months, which was 3 months too long. I kept expecting my digestive system to begin working smoothly again, however it made me even more irregular than usual. I am an active woman, I eat right and exercise daily. I am not overweight nor do I have IBS or any other bowel or intestinal problem that I know of. Not pooping for 3 days is not healthy. What goes in should come out within 12 to 24 hours. I was very dissapointed that this product didn't work but only seemed to make it worse. I am glad it works for most people, but if you do not see results within a few weeks, don't waste your money. Every body is different and requires different probiotics to work. I'm going back to what I used to use when I was regular and that is fermenting my own Kombucha and drinking it on a daily basis. I know it works to keep the flora of the intestine in balance. I just got lazy, or busy and stopped brewing it a few years ago. Its easy and very, very good for you.

Willing to try any alternative to knee replacement

I tried Cosamin ASU because I told my Doctor that I wanted to try any alternative to having a knee replacement, and he said they have seen some good results with the avocado soy supplement. I am 60, and not ready for a knee replacement. So far it has helped to some degree with my pain.

The product arrived even sooner than we had expected, and was packaged well. Unfortunately, Cosamin ASU has not been able to help in reducing the patient's arthritic pain. She has had severe symptoms for some time now, and had to have two knee replacements prior to taking ASU. Pain in her shoulder area has not been reduced by the medicaton, but it is very possible that nothing would have been able to ameliorate her condition at this point. ASM is certainly worth trying, but don't expect miracles from it.

Really helps with joint pain

My vet recommended this product. He is a marathon biker and was told his knees would have to be replaced. That was 20 years ago. He's been using this product and still has his original knees. My "bad" joints have really improved since starting this product. Like any non-drug, it takes a bit but the time is worth the benefits.

I did not have any particular faith in glucosamine or glucosamine/chontroitin as beneficial for joint health and joint pain until a friend told me her experience with her knee pain and disablilty that resolved on this product. Based on this anecdotal story, I decided that I had little to loose investing in a 3 month supply. I have a structurally abnormal right hip (hip dysplasia)and as a result of my years of running and other exercise before my diagnosis of hip dysplasia (in my 50's), I have arthritis in that hip. It was to the point that sometimes I was limping. I can say that now I don't even notice that there is pain in my hip. I don't even think about it. Before cosamin DS, I was always aware of my right hip and would take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs when the pain was bad. Now, no analgesics. I will be ordering this product from now on.Incidentally, they make a veterinary product which my cat is on for his arthritis.

I am a runner and have suffered from knee pain for years. I wear a patellar strap to relieve the pain when i run, but still have pain somewhat. I started taking CosaminDS after reading other reviews and guess what? My pain is almost gone!! Not only that, my back pain is much improved too. I'd much rather take a natural remedy like this than some Rx meds.

Doesn't seem to do anything

Been using Kirkland glucosamine for over nine months now and have yet to see any noticeable difference. I still have ankle and knee pain. Maybe because I am an active person and this is not strong enough for my joints and lifestyle. I play basketball every week, go to the gym and sometime mountain biking. I give it a two star because "maybe" it is preventing my condition from getting worst.

I purchased the product and the delivery was prompt. I immediately started taking the pills BD. The first night, I slept better and since then, my back pain has not been as severe; I also sleep better. I am not free of pain after 20-25 days, but the pain is manageable and I intend continuing taking the pills as I see hope for further improvement.

I love this product. After my knee surgery for torn cartilage, my knee pain got worse. However, now, as long as I use this product, I have no problems whatsoever. My knee feels just as healthy as the other knee. One other hint: If you have knee pain, try walking on uneven ground (beach, park). That will help a lot.

Glucosamine vs. Placebo were no different for back pain

I've been using this product for 2+ years now for my Knee and Joint pain.This morning I heard about a study done in Europe (Sweden or Netherlands) on BBC that found that their test of 180 adults showed no difference between a control group taking Glucosamine and another group taking a placebo... both groups showed the same improvement.So keep that in mind... but the study only mentioned "back" only and not other joints.And the prices of these pills have steadily been going up & up... Costco was selling these for two bottles of 180 for about $25 and the other day I paid $23.99 for a bottle of $190. And yes, EXACT same strength. Costco 'Membership has it's privileges', I guess.I hope now that some of the hype for this stuff goes away, the prices will become more reasonable again?

Six months later

I've been taking one capsule a day of TruNature Prostate Health Complex with Saw Palmetto, Zinc, Lycopene, and Pumpkin Seed for over three months with little apparent positive effect. I still get up 3-5 times a night and continue to have problems with bladder retention and frequent urge to pee. I'm ready to move on to something else. Any suggestions?

Feeling Much Better

I've been having problems with my prostate for the past 2 years. Being in my late fifties, going to the bathroom and taking a longer than the usual time to relieve myself got me worrying. So, after a lot of research, I decided to try the TruNature Prostate Health Complex w/Saw Palmetto, and I'm glad I bought a bottle of it. After 5 weeks of taking 1 softgel a day I'm feeling better. My urine flow is stronger, and my sex drive is back to where I want it. She's happier too. I'm not saying it's all due to the TruNature Softgels, but they apparently have helped a lot, since I didn't change my diet & exercise regimen. I will definitely order more when the bottle is empty, and I recommend this product!

Having passed the meridian of life (one would think), a vegetarian for over thirty-five years now, vegan, raw for over a decade cumulatively, 90% frutarian from 1978-1982, mostly in the tropics - personal acquaintance of a number of "health pioneers" - I offer you my opinion: GAIA HERBS is creating a REVOLUTION on the supplement/remedy shelf of your health food store. Their products are uniformally FANTASTIC!!! I never used supplements at all - until my forties - and then, well, unless you live in a remote, stress-free, environmentally unchallenged part of the world (perhaps an imaginary world will do at this piont - thank you Uncle Sam) - the wheels begin to fall off. That drowsy bedtime feeling at around 4-5 pm??? No - it's not love in the afternoon (remember how it was when you got home from high school - long, long ago - anyone ready to boogie?) - it's the natural degeneration of your adrenal glands. You can junk the spirulina, shilajit, immortal mushrooms, ma huang, etc - very good and expensive supplements. Take two GAIA HERB ADRENAL HEALTH CAPS IN THE AM - and party out - the stuff is awesome - not cheap - but will not break you at the bank - and worth every penny. Goes right to the root of the biggest problem of aging.

I've used these when I needed a milder support. They're good. The ones I find better/more effective for me are by Integrative Therapeutics--they seem stronger, but you don't get a racy feeling at all. It depends on what type of adrenal support you need.

Great Product

What happens with me and my adrenal fatigue is, after a week or so of not taking an adrenal support supplement, I feel spacey, fatigued all the time like jet-lag, and have trouble sleeping. I used to take Vital Nutrients adrenal support and I guess its my system, but I would always feel sleepy when I took it, and if I took too much I would feel sleepier, and it made my stomach upset. So, when I ran out of it, I decided to try this Gaia Herbs brand because of the price, and the quality is great! I love organic products when I can afford them. I only take this when I feel a lag in energy, and my lack of energy is decreasing since I began taking this product. Also, although it recommends 2 a day (twice), I don't take two, usually just one, and only once a day. Then if I still feel tired I take another. On very stressful days, I take two at a time. I have GAD and this product helps me handle stress and feel relaxed when otherwise my anxiety would drain my adrenal glands to the point of dysfunction. I highly recommend this product to relieve your stress and fatigue. I only drink coffee in the morning, and I never recommend caffeine in the evenings, but that is one thing that many people do which drains their adrenals. Just a little FYI - try this instead!!I'm not sure if its affecting my weight but I have lost weight since I started taking it... Which I'm happy about. Heh.

I highly recommend this product to anyone , who needs some help relaxing and fight the stress, (besides yoga ) . I didn't expect much , I just wanted to try something to help me relax a little . This product worked for me after a week later . I started feeling so much better and relaxed . Without my control I stopped worrying and my thoughts were much more calmer . It worked like a magic ! The results were drastic and I LOVED it . My family noticed the changes in me as well . I wake up much happier , my day is much calmer , my afternoons are much better and I sleep like a bear in his winter sleep . Really made a positive difference for me

I know this works well (for me) because I took one in the a.m. and one in the p.m. until one full bottle was gone. I am also taking a few other vitamins, supplements and amino acids (L-Tryptophan in particular is excellent) so when I finished the bottle of Adrenal Health I thought I'd wait and see how I felt or even if it made a difference.... I have a noticed a definite "drag" in my mood and physical energy since I ran out of this a week ago. I was really puzzled because I have not changed my nutrition at all (no processed foods, no sugar) and then I saw the empty bottle and remembered my little experiment! Of course. So, now I am back to order another bottle. The good thing about things like this product and L-Tryp, etc., is that once your body has built it's reserves back up then you can stop taking them, unlike Prozac or other artificial meds that just trick your body into thinking you have something you don't, there-by bankrupting your system even further than when you started taking the meds... hence increased doses and side effects. I am living proof that you can get off of anti-depressants & SSRI uptake inhibitors, etc., for good. Read The Mood Cure by Dr. Julia Ross, here at Amazon. It will change your life for the better.
