Best tasting bar ever!!!

I have tried many types of nutritional bar but Pro Bar Nutty Banana Boom has to be the best tasting bar I have ever eaten. They fill you up with about 370 calories, offer great nutrition so you don't crave that junk food, and tastes so good. I like the part where the dark chocolate chip morsels mixes with the coconut strip creating an amazing amount of flavor in your mouth. They are the most expensive bars but if you opt for Amazon's subscribe and save option, it makes it a bit cheaper.Overall, these are the best tasting bars which I use on the tennis courts so I can play all day and eat for lunch when I am strapped for time.

Carob chips instead of peanut butter

Love all the Probars, but this one is great because it does not contain peanut butter. Thought the blueberry taste would be overpowering, but it is not. The big surprise here are the carob chips, very yummy. This is my favorite Probar!

Great Product, With Okay Flavor!

Alright, I LOVE Probars because they are healthy meal replacements. I've enjoyed the big, bold fruit flavors of the Whole Berry Blast, the Nutty Banana Boom, & the Cran-Lemon Twister, so expected more flavor from this bar... But the flavor didn't live up to expectation. It was just so-so in the flavor department.

Very tasty health bar

I love these bars but not all the flavors though. The berry blast is one of my most favorite along with the original art's bar, the cran-lemon I really don't like. I can't wait to taste the nutty banana. They are very fulfilling and healthy, kind of on the expensive side but it almost substitutes a meal for me, so it is not so bad.

For years my 13 year old son has refused to eat during a golf tournament and he is normally fatigued before the tournament end. This is the first product that he remembers to include in his bag. It seems to give him enough energy to finish the round without losing focus and he loves the taste!

i bought this scale to help me with my diet and it is very easy to use! i am not yet gotten the hang of figuring out how to program foods in yet, but i will look at the directions in more details. it is very user friendly. i even dropped it on hard wood floor and it held up fine!

Nice food Scale

This scale has worked fine for me. The food code look up is a bit difficult and makes it a must to always have the manual for looking up the food codes. The glass top is a potential breaking issue. I knew all of this before purchasing the scale so it's not a complaint but an observation, I have ordered other nutrition/food scales that are more user friendly and durable.

I have loved this scale since the first time I set eyes on it and the real product has not been a disappointment. The scale looks fantastic. I have not used all of the features, but really enjoy the tare feature as well as the ability to move between grams, ounces, and pounds. The digital readout is clear and readable. The on/off feature works great, and I'm sure that is prolonging battery life. I have not had any problems with batteries getting run down too quickly. The only thing I really have any concern about is being able to clean under the glass plate. I have been able to wipe off the front and so far grime has not been a problem. It's just hard for something to be in the kitchen and not get dirty. All in all, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

I think the best part of this scale is the fact that I can put a plate on it, then turn it on and the plate weighs as zero. I can then add food onto the plate as an exact portion size. Being able to check for carbs, fat, protein etc has been a real eye opener!

Not for the Baker

This is my first review, which is really odd seeing I depend heavily on reviews to determine product quality prior to buying anything. That being said, I really feel strongly about this item so I thought it was time I wrote my first review!First of all, please do not even consider buying this scale if you plan on using it for baking. Not that it isn't accurate, but that the clean up is nearly impossible. I bake a lot and I am an RNY Patient that watches calories and portion control. That is why I choose this particular scale. However, I have had to resort to putting a plastic wrap on the front of these scales because cleaning out powder substances, i.e. flour, powdered sugar and the like was a constant job. The little buttons clog easily as well. Also I dinged yet another star due to the fact that the Auto Shut off is very quick. By the time I measure one ingredient and prepare the next the dang thing is off and when I turn it back on it has zeroed out already. I have written to the company to find out how to turn off this feature since I could not find it in the manual. In all fairness I just wrote them this morning so I do not have that answer as of yet. I will post it when I get that answer.All in all, if you are just using these scales for portion control and Diet.. on second thought.. forget it.. move on and try one that is easier to clean. If you spill liquid on these scales that too can hurt it. BTW, these scales are quite complicated for the Nutrition Calculator. I would nix that whole idea and use something online that is easier.. like [...] or [...] both of those programs I use and they tell you the nutritional value of whole recipes. Good Luck! Arrived broken

Couldn't tell you if anything about this product is good since I never got a chance to use it as it arrived not functioning. The lcd panel just lit up a bunch of symbols that made no sense and could not be fixed after reading all the instructions numerous times. Would not order again after reading all the other reviews.

This is the only kind of weighing that I enjoy!

I have tried a lot of different "fad" diets but while I'm working on losing weight I've come back to the tried and true method of burning more calories than you consume. I didn't know what to expect with this scale but found that I love it. I love to cook and this allows you to calculate the calories of every ingredient. I set my cooking bowl on the scale and turn it on - it excludes the weight of the bowl. Between each ingredient you turn it off and turn it back on and it resets to zero so you can weigh each ingredient but use the same bowl. The same is true for loading your plate and knowing how much each item weighs. It has a lot of other cool features but my favorite is the zero reset because you don't have to dirty up measuring cups and extra plates to figure each ingredient.It is thin and light weight - I'll admit that sometimes when I carry a large purse I put it in there so that when I go out to lunch I can measure portions.I've lost 20 lbs so far and this has helped me so much.

I was a little worried about ordering a scale online without looking at it, but I really love this scale. The key book, with all the ingredients, that come with it is wonderful. I use the scale to weight everything, including cat food since my cat is on a diet too. I've already lost 9 pounds using this scale to watch my calorie intake.

We've been making nearly all of our own food for our baby, but we tried this out and our baby went bananas for it. I tried it and it is delicious. DELICIOUS!! Savory, interesting flavors and good texture. I've tried to achieve mexican flavors without salt in my food and it tastes...not so great; this stuff is fantastic. Highly recommended.

This is the second flavor of World Baby Foods my baby has tried and it's fantastic. This one has a rich bean flavor with a mild kick to it because of the chili.I've never seen him gobble up baby food as fast as he eats this brand.I really love these mixes too because they usually include some very substantial elements like rice or beans and I don't have to bulk it up with additional cereal to fill him up. He's 7 months old and half a jar usually fills him up.

I was overwhelmed by the prenatal vitamin options, and it was tedious to read the ingredient listings. After a fairly exhaustive search, I finally decided on Super Nutrition because other brands either failed to list the nutrient source or used a synthetic version (even organic vitamins used some synthetic vitamin D2).Vitamins rarely upset my stomach, so this was gentle on my digestive system. I bite the tablets in half because I don't want a large pill sitting in my stomach. As with any other vitamin brand, there are no studies to confirm that there is a good absorption rate because all vitamins make the urine yellow and lead us to believe that most of the nutrients are being washed away. Apart from that, the Super Nutrition website is informative, provides detailed disclosure of their ingredients, and addresses questions. I try to eat healthy and use this as a supplement. It is also free of fillers, soy, yeast, gluten, nuts, sugar, and other common sensitizers.

Every single prenatal vitamin that I tried during each of my two first pregnancies made me absolutely sick to my stomach, and sadly would cause me to toss my cookies even when "morning" sickness was long gone. That includes Rainbow Light brand which was actually one of the worst offenders.A friend of mine had these Super Nutrition PreNatal Blend and I tried some while I was staying at her house and they didn't cause even the slightest stomach upset. Not even when I took them on an empty stomach!I used these vitamins before, during and after my pregnancy and still taking them now while breastfeeding. My OB and CNMs were all very impressed with them too. I won't even bother trying anything else because these are perfect for me.

Easy on the tummy, easiest to take

I have been taking these for the past 6 months, since I found out I was pregnant. Before that, I took the Super Nutrition Simply One Women's.This vitamin is easy on the tummy, and easy to take 'cause it doesn't have that intensely odorific smell like other vitamins. Plus, you take ONE daily. How easy is that? Other brands, esp. the ones the Doc gave me made my stomach cramp, and I would gag just swallowing it. I really like the Super Nutrition brand quality and will continue to take the Prenatal and Women's even after this pregnancy.So far, in my pregnancy, Baby looks healthy and happy in all the routine diagnostics so can't argue with results. I also take one 1000 mg gelcap of Wild Salmon Oil, 200 mg of extra Spirulina, and an additional supplement of Calcium-Magnesium-Potassium every day for good measure...

The Best Multi Pre- & Post!

I gave birth 12 months ago, but I'm still nursing, and I find it works great for me! I was really depleted a few months ago. I read an excellent book called "Mother Nurture" which gave a lot of great advice on how to feel better naturally through a specific allowance of key vitamins and minerals. This is the only Multi I have found that meets almost all of those PERFECTLY! And after starting on them, all my symptoms (physical & psychological) have been alleviated! Excellent product. We were tired of finding Acesulfame K and other artificial ingredients in other whey powders, so this fit the bill! The only downside is that is it's slightly more difficult to mix than some of the other whey powders out there. But I add it to a fruit smoothie - unfrozen and frozen, and it gives it a nice texture and flavor. Since I know it's natural, I'll cut it with a fork and knife if I have to!! LOL We were very pleased with this purchase, and you can't beat the price or the fact that it's pure isolate. Wonderful company!

The Best of Now Foods Whey Protein

I've now tried three of the four flavors of whey protein isolate from Now Foods: Dutch Chocolate, Strawberry and Unflavored (I've avoided Vanilla due to the abysmal reviews I had read elsewhere). Of the three, this is my favorite.First, the texture is very smooth: it mixes the cleanest of the three I've tried, both with a blender and the Blender Ball hand mixer. However, most importantly, it has a very mild flavor that is easily masked by just about anything. While the other two flavors are okay (Strawberry trumping Dutch Chocolate by a landslide) I prefer the versatility of the Pure Unflavored. I usually mix it with light chocolate soy milk, although it really works with any flavored beverage. Just be aware that it does add a bit of thickness, so if you choose to mix it with juice, it will alter the texture.It also makes a good additive to baked goods, since the flavor is almost entirely neutral. Definitely my favorite.

Very Very Good Protein, Excellent Value, Greener Packaging

The quality of Now products is always good, in my family's experience over the past 3 years we have been using them. We began using their protein powder about 2 years ago, and have found it to be a very good source of protein. I am reserved in claiming that it is excellent, because that would mean it is the best type of protein we have ever tried. No everyone in the family agrees that it is the best. I like it the best of all protein, and my husband ranks it second best. I think soy and rice protein ranked best for him. The protein I am rating in this review is whey protein. We have a friend who is a nutritionist and herbalist and he tells us that this is the best protein for us.I give it "Excellent" for value because the Mega Pack cost per ounce is very good, compared to getting it in the regular, plastic container/tub.I mentioned that it has "Greener Packaging," because of the difference in material used in the bag versus the big tub. So, it uses less plastic for packaging.We bought the big tubs until we found this huge bag. Now, we buy the huge bag and use it to refill the big tubs about twice before we have to get another huge bag.So, overall, I give this product 5 stars, because there is no rating of 4.75 starts.

Great protein product.

This is a fantastic protein powder. Like the other reviewers have said, it has no unnecessary additives. I mix it with cold water and drink it straight every morning and evening. The flavor is very mild and it's easy and pleasant to drink. I've found that if you put the powder in first, then pour in water on top of it quickly, it will almost dissolve itself without any mixing. If you add the powder after the water it'll clump up. I imagine that some sort of shaker would be the best way to mix it.As long as they keep making this product I'll keep using it!

very nice Protein!

I was looking quite a while for non-modified protein powder. I don't like the common flavors as they are all tasting very synthetic to me. Even if they seem to be ok in the beginning, after a while when going through a 5lbs container I start disliking the taste, so I was looking for something that just hadn't anything added to it. Strangely enough, this seems to be something really odd to look for as I couldn't find a product without additives and flavors added in any local store and even online was hard enough. Finally I found this great offer and it also came with a good price. The powder is really tasteless as far as it is possible. No flavors added. It dissolves amazingly good in plain water or any other liquid you might want to choose, including milk. Get a mixer cup and you can create a nice protein drink in any kind of flavor by just adding the appropriate juice.

I have finally found the bar that I have searched for. I eat at least one food bar a day and I have tried every brand out there. This bar is a dream come true for me. Organic, 80% raw, and lots of protein! I really never imagined such a complete and DELICIOUS bar existed. I am now stocking my pantry with these bars. Great!!

It is very satisfying with only a few ingredients. The bar is vegan which is kind of an extra plus for vegetarians and it doesn't have a weird after taste. The bar is very dense and nutty flavored from the almond butter and not too sweet. When I have one in the morning, I don't feel hungry at all until lunch time.

I've tried about every nutrition bar on the market (or every bar at whole foods xD) The best ones in my opinion are Greens+ protein chocolate peanut butter, this, and Perfect Foods. This is the only vegan one. The taste takes a little getting used to, but I find extremely delicious now. The only downside is they're so delicious I can scarf them down two at a time so they never last!

Being primarily raw, we finally see a healthy raw food bar on the market. Well, it's been out a few years, but I'm just reviewing it now. :)This bar tastes pretty good. The texture is a little weird, but I can look past it, for the nutritional benefits, and the taste really isn't all too bad. It doesn't taste like a snickers bar, but it's also not rock-hard and crunchy, like many other raw food bars.All in all, good bar. I recommend them to any health conscious athlete.

I love these. The protein is my favorite kind. I know taste is very individualized, but to me the consistency and taste are both excellent. I eat one every morning for breakfast. They're organic and just all around extremely healthy for you. A few years ago I, a junk-food addict, totally changed my life and reversed my poor health by eating these bars in conjunction with a mostly "raw" vegetarian diet free from processed ick. I would recommend this bar to any and everyone who wants the convenience of a bar but not the chemicals and high fructose corn syrup that come with most of them, even so-called health bars. I carry at least one to work every day as well if I need a quick snack.And I'll say again -- I LOVE the taste and texture. At very first blush I just tolerated it, but now that my taste buds have acclimated to life without high fructose corn syrup, they taste fantastic. I actually look forward to having one every morning!
