I bought this product as my daughter wanted organic, kosher food for her twins...the babies love it and the quality is apparent...good price and well packaged on delivery...it sure saves time to get it on line...I am now buying all of this brand I can, and they have all the age appropriate groups easily labeled so you can figure out if you are buying the right food for the babies age...

Sweet Potato and Apricot Blend

My seven month old recently moved into stage two foods and has been enjoying the various combinations that Earth's Best offers. He absolutely loves this apricot and sweet potato blend, he kicks his feet with excitement with each bite -- I can't seem to get the next spoonful in his mouth fast enough. He also really likes the sweet potato and cinnamon and the pumpkin and apple blends.

Sounded great but my son would not eat it!

My son, who eats almost anything, would only eat 2 - 3 bites of this before refusing anymore. Don't order unless (1) you know your baby loves sweet potatoes and apricots and (2) he/she is a great eater already.

First, since the photo is hard to see and the description doesn't list the "flavors" included, they are:* Apple Butternut Squash * Banana Mango * Carrot Tomato * Sweet Potato ApricotEven though my baby isn't a picky eater and eats his veggies willingly, I loved the idea of combining fruit and vegetables. I figure the more flavors I can introduce him to now, the better--maybe I won't end up with a picky toddler! My baby loved all the flavors, and I even ended up buying Earth's Best 2nd Antioxidant Blend Carrot Tomato, 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12) because in addition to him liking that one a lot, it's the only Stage 2 food I've found that has tomato in it.I bought this variety pack countless times, and I highly recommend it to other moms.

You don't often find tomato in a baby food, and it really does smell and taste like tomato! My baby likes this flavor sooooo much that we are finally ordering an entire case (pack) of it, instead of just getting three of them in the Earth's Best 2nd Antioxidant Variety Pack, 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12)!! I do wish it was a little thicker, as it's one of the runnier/thinner Stage 2 foods, but I still highly recommend it!

Excellent BABY Food

We have been trying all sorts of flavors of Earth's Best and really, it's going to depend on what your baby likes and doesn't, so I hadn't planned on writing a review of them, except that this flavor got one star because some 65-year-old person complained it tastes like baby food! Well, duh, it's not made or meant for older people with stomach issues, it's for babies. Earth's Best is a good line of Organic baby foods and for what's it's worth, our baby likes the flavor. It tastes kind of like spaghetti sauce.

carrot tomato glop

Again, I understand why my babies wouldn't eat babyfood. But as babyfood goes, the carrot tomato blend is almost edible provided salt is added. I should mention I have no babies. I am 65 and I have just had stomach surgery. Babyfood is one of the things that is not supposed to upset my stomach. Well, I'll admit I haven't had a barfing attack after eating babyfood, but on the other hand, I find it difficult to get down a whole jar. I'm used to food that tastes like food.

Even though they include a certificate from a Lab, their ORAC value is about 10 times too high : Freeze dried Maqui Berry should have an ORAC value of around 92000 per 100 grams. Since these pills only contain 1.3 grams each, their ORAC value should be around 92000*1.3/100 = 1196. I could not find any explanation from their website for why their Maqui Berry has a 10x higher ORAC value than all others. Here is a report from the same lab of freeze dried Maqui Berry (the best form of Maqui Berry) that shows a total ORAC value of 784 per gram (or 78400 per 100 grams):[...]

After taking the first serving, within hours the pain had been relieved. After about a week now, there is virtually no pain and I can sit comfortably in the car without hurting. This product has been great - fast shipping - even includes their certificate proving their ORAC value. If I'm taking something, it might as well provide as much ORAC value as it can, and there's nothing that provides more than Maqui Best.

This is our six month's old favorite baby food so far! The banana mango combination smells really good, and my husband and I both dipped our finger in and had a little taste. We agree it's actually tasty even to an adult, not foul smelling like a lot of jarred baby food. My daughter gobbled it up! Here on Amazon to buy more!
