Even though they include a certificate from a Lab, their ORAC value is about 10 times too high : Freeze dried Maqui Berry should have an ORAC value of around 92000 per 100 grams. Since these pills only contain 1.3 grams each, their ORAC value should be around 92000*1.3/100 = 1196. I could not find any explanation from their website for why their Maqui Berry has a 10x higher ORAC value than all others. Here is a report from the same lab of freeze dried Maqui Berry (the best form of Maqui Berry) that shows a total ORAC value of 784 per gram (or 78400 per 100 grams):[...]

I have been taking Maqui berries for the past two years. I found that I have much more energy and feel less stress when I take them. Zyflamed side effect - Stomach Pain

I am 50 years old and and began having neck and shoulder pain a few months ago. A friend recommended Zyflamend. The first day I took one tablet with lunch and another tablet with dinner. The next day I had terrible burning in my stomach, like an ulcer. I also had major indigestion, with minor bloating, and gas. Before taking these tablets, I had no stomach pain or indigestion problems whatsoever. I take no other medications. I am relatively healthy, eat well, and am moderately active. I quit taking the Zyflamend and it took several days for the symptoms to go away. I do NOT recommend this product.

They seem to work for my mom

My mom suffers some age-related joint pain, and I had her try this herbal remedy. It seemed to help, and just as significantly didn't seem to cause any side-effects or gastro issues for her (she's normally very sensitive to many medications).With this sort of remedy, it's hard to separate actual effects from the placebo effect, or from combinations of other hard-to-quantify variable such as the weather, activity levels, diet, etc, but it seems like it may help, and it doesn't hurt.

I've been taking Zyflamend for a couple of weeks and I feel a bit stupid for not even considering that it might be the cause for the strange rash I have developed on my legs, under arms and chest. Of course! These are potent herbs and I have very sensitive skin that breaks out and flushes when I eat spicy food.The pills had an obviously positive effect on a knee that was bothering me, though, so I recommend it for others. Nor did I have any stomach/digestive issues, except for really bitter breath. It's important to drink sufficient water while taking these supplements.

don't take at bed time

I made the mistake of taking this at bedtime. I have chronic Lyme, EBV,Fibromyalgia and chronic insomnia and have not slept for more than 2 hours at a time but this was the worse, I slept 1 hour. I ordered the PM and will try that. It did help some with the inflammation and neuropathy but next I will take only 1 capsule.

I suffer from chronic shoulder inflammation. Resveratrol works. Of that I have no doubt.Studies touting astonishing results have been coming out for years and I've waited for a study (or studies) to come out that says, "Well, we've been duped; another miracle supplement that fell apart on closer examination," but that hasn't happened. Closer examination of resveratrol has done nothing but strengthen/support earlier reports of resveratrol's uses and researchers continue to find MORE uses for resveratrol.The problem with using resveratrol as a supplement is that the resveratrol molecule is extremely volatile and susceptible to oxidation. There is very little bioavailable resveratrol in supplements that come in a powdered form or a liquid drink, or that claim "red wine extract" as their source of resveratrol .That's frustrated me. I've wanted to take resveratrol for years, but the manufacturing processes of even the leading supplement companies leave so little bioavailable resveratrol, not to mention ridiculously high costs, that I never took the plunge.Until, that is, I came across Resvantage.
