Love these bars

These bars have a low GI index of under 30 so they are great for diabetics. I cannot believe it but I can get them cheaper on Amazon than at the store. (Cheaper and no shipping charge!) The longer I use them the better they taste. Maybe its because I've forgotten what real candy bars taste like, but I really enjoy these bars.

Yes...but are they gluten free?

I think these are the best on the market! No doubt. Recently found out about celiac and I wonder if I can still have these bars. Does anyone know if they are gluten free?

As a newly diagnosed diabetic I have become more concious of what energy bars I eat - these are by far the best I have found! Hubby loves them too - flavors and textures are great and the balance of protien fat and carbs makes for good energy without a glucose spike.

The glycemic index does not take away the WANTING to eat but you feel Full and it is easier to do what is good for you. Being a diabetic my problems are harder to deal with and these truly helped.

The chocolate Solo bar (haven't tasted the other flavors) is by far the best nutrition bar I've tried. Delicious! And you feel good, too! At $1.99 per bar at my health food store, the Amazon price is a steal.

Must-have chocolate bar!

I have tried quite a few chocolate energy bars and this is by far the best-tasting chocolate bar out there! I am a diabetic and keep these on hand. The Solo bars keep your blood sugar stable and work well for snacks and prior to exercise. One great benefit: for me, these work really well when I want something chocolatey. They satisfy my chocolate craving in a healthy way!

Not good

Seeing the all the positive reviews, I figured I would give these bars a try and maybe to have an alternative bar for all Atkins bars I eat. So much for the good reviews, and supposed use by Olympic athletes. First thing I noticed the pronounced chocholate flavor which overpowers your taste buds. The bars also have a rather bland and sugary taste. I have tried all the Aktins bars, and virtually all of them are superior to this bar (I have no affiliation with Atkins). All my family members pretty much agreed with my opinions on the taste. These bars fit into the category of the barely edible health bars (the great majority of health bars are awful). Maybe other brands of Solo are better, but I'm not going to waste my money trying them.

Great - but price increase?

These bars recently went up almost $5 a box. Unfortunately, this has led to me cancelling my subscription to these. They are one of my favorite snacks but the bar is pretty small and for the price it isn't worth it to me anymore. Other than that it is a great product!

Best bar ever!

The Solo Lemon Lift bars are the best tasting bars out there! Great lemon taste and a good texture. These bars keep you satisfied and are a great snack between meals or before exercise, etc. The Chocolate Charger is the best-tasting chocolate bar also. I buy them both on a regular basis!

Great taste

Filling, tastes great, and keeps hunger away for a few hours. My favorite Solo flavors (in order) are Peanut Power, Lemon Lift, and Berry Bliss. The chocolate charger tends to be too hard to chew and a little dry.

The best of the SoLo bars, YUMMY!

I like this flavor of the Solo bar head and sholders above the others. This has a yogurt coating that does not taste waxy, and there are dried cranberries in it too! If you are a citrus-cranberry flavor fan (I am), then it will be a delight to have this bar as a choice in a sea of chocolate and PB based energy bars.I highly recommend!

Solo is oh so good!

Solo bars are so delicious, especially the Lemon Lift flavor. I grab one on the go at lunch time and it keeps me going until dinner. One of the best bars of this type I have ever had. I am a fitness trainer and I recommend them to my clients of which some are diabetics and they love the Solo bars. They do not experience the sugar spike and drop like with other bars or like candy bars. Great product!

A Miracle Serum

I'm 52 and do not have any wrinkles except one forehead vertical furrow. I consistently use SPF and moisturize. However, being very fair, I've suffered with Rosacea for 20 years. I've used foundation to disguise the redness and cover spider veins. After one week or so use of the Jason C serum (during the day and every other night), my face is clear and light and the spider veins are barely noticeable. I am not wearing foundation or concealer - just a little blush and lip gloss. Metrogel did nothing for me. And you can't continue on Doxycyline forever. I was really considering laser therapy or saline for the veins. I'm about to pinch myself because this seems like a dream.I had two small age spots on my face (probably from Depo-Provera) that disappeared in two days. In two days, my skin was glowing again as well.I keep the serum in it's cardboard box because light will oxidize the serum. I don't know why the serum doesn't come in an opaque or dark bottle. This is my only complaint. I also use the Jason Hyper-C Eyelift Serum. And I use Afirm 3X every other night (Afirm 3X is a potent retinol).I didn't think I'd be able to go without foundation again. My face is glowing and clear like it was in my 20's.I enjoy the fresh orange fragrance as well.

The "Very Best" for less!

Jason's Natural Cosmetics i.e. products for women's faces contain all the ingredients that dermotologists recommend. I have been using these products for over a year and am pleased with their skin performance. One great aspect of these products is that they contain vitamins that actually work. One difficulty is finding all of their products, although, besides Amazon, I have been able to find some at WalGreens. Most stores highlight the most expensive and these are very affordable so look at lower shelves.

Compared to Physician serum

I tried to compare this to products purchased at my former plastic surgeon's office. The serum is almost as good but I do not know how powerful the Vitamin C is compared to the more costly one from the MD's. It is nice smelling like oranges and comes in a nice pump bottle. I think this would be fine until I can afford the MD visit & his products.

The first time I used, I didn't like the smell but day by day I was getting used with this orange-concentrated scent.This serum is very concentrated. I use it mixing with other liquid essence. It makes me keep my skin moisturized all night long.I recommend it for people like me, with dry skin. Not recommended for oily-skin.
