I wish I would have read these reviews before trying this product, though I am not sure it would have made a difference--I probably would still have bought it. I have never had a reaction to a moisturizer or sunscreen or even make-up before, but while applying my third application of this I noticed the red rash on my cheeks that others have mentioned. I've used other Oil of Olay products with no incident, and I was actually trying to switch to this from the Neutrogena anti-aging product I had been using simply because of the name brand. Didn't work.Aside from the rash, I was also not a fan of the texture of this product--it was thicker and greasier than I had expected, more of a traditional sunscreen than a moisturizer. All over disappointing.

I applied this item as directed and it worked great everywhere -- except my cheeks, where it caused burning, irritation, and a very visible rash. My skin is not super sensitive and I've never once had a reaction to a moisturizer/sun screen before. I would STRONGLY suggest testing on a small area unless you're okay with risking walking around with a nasty rash for a couple of days. I have tried it again and it always burns in the same area but is fine everywhere else, not sure why.I understand that reactions vary by individuals, so I didn't think it would be fair to give this item one star. I don't believe it's the product's fault that my skin couldn't handle it, and like I said, it did work well everywhere else. I ordered other Olay products at the same time as this and have used them without incident.

Started using this at a friend's recommendation, replacing a product that was about 4 times more expensive. Some aging spots have significantly faded and the moisturizing effect is even better than the other product from a salon. We'll see how it does with sun protection this summer.

I have used everything, from Avon to Clinique, BioTherm, you name it I've spent a fortune on it. I have even tried Dermalogica. This product is WONDERFUL. It actually leaves my face feeling moisturized instead of dry and irritable. It cost 1/3 the price I was paying for moisturizer. Fragrance FREE - What a concept!! Great job Oil of Olay. I can now moisturize my face without my eyes burning and tearing for an hour afterward. May skin feels baby soft after I put this on it and it does not burn and itch, in the dry weather it brings great relief. I wake up in the morning and I cannot wait to put my daily moisturizer on.

Oil of Olay Pro X Products

I have been using the Oil of Olay Pro X products for eight months now, and I have seen no improvement whatsoever in my skin. The wrinkles are still as visible as they were before I began using the product. Sure, it moisturizes the skin, but so does a regular moisturizer that costs much less. Please don't promote removing lines when the product does not.

Be warned, Sensitive Skin Types

After 10 days of faithful use, I developed an allergy to the night cream...bumps around my collar area and on the side of my face. It was worse with the eye cream. The skin around my eyes was drive-you-insane itchy, and because the cream is so strong, the wrinkles underneath my eyes became more pronounced as the cream sucked any last iota of moisture I might have had there. To add insult to injury, people asked me if I'd been crying - and that was after a shower and the whole skin regimen in the morning, without a stitch of make-up. The eye cream simply doesn't moisturize, full stop, and it's not for someone like me who is sensitive to some products. Even the cheap dollar store eye cream I still have is better than the one in the Pro X line. I ceased using all three products and immediately switched to my "first aid": Vaseline (yes, Vaseline) under my eyes with that same cheap eye cream over it. I now don't look like I haven't slept in a week. The day lotion with the SPF? Meh. It isn't anything to shout about.I won't recommend this starter kit or any of the Pro X products in it to anyone, and I certainly won't be buying it again.

ProX, No; Regenerist, Yes

I ordered the ProX line purely based upon the TV commercials. I figured the Starter Protocol would be a "safe" way to try the ProX line without having to "invest" too much money in it. And if they work, I'll order the regular sizes and use this Starter Protocol for travel.I tried them right away upon receiving them today. The Eye Restoration Complex was light but "burned" my eyes a bit as if there's menthol. The Wrinkle Smoothing Cream went on very thin and I didn't feel my face receiving "nourishment". The cream also burned my face a bit with the same menthol-burning effect.A few hours later, I tried the Age Repair Lotion SPF 30. It felt oily and appeared white - much like a sunscreen that I had to rub it in. My face and forehead looked oily and they turned pinkish red as if I've been under the sun.After 10 hours, my face and forehead were still pinkish red so I decided to wash them off and went back to my Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum and Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum which work better for me.My skin is toward the dry and sensitive type.

Must Have!

I was first skeptical on using this product because nothing else has ever worked, but within the first week of using this kit, my face was much more softer and my under eye circles were starting to diminish. It has now been a full month and I cant believe what a difference your eyes make when their not all puffy and dark, Ive actually gotten compliments thaf I look younger, as far as wrinkles go, I dont have many but I have the noticed the ones on my forehead are not as deep as before. I would highly recommend this product.

Very disappointed

I was very disappointed in this lip treatment. My lips tend to be very dry and I am always looking for something new to try for that problem. This product actually made my lips even drier and redder. It feels great going on but after that it is downhill. I normally love the Olay Regenerist line of products and that is why I thought this was going to be great. Sorry to say, but the Anti Aging lip treatment just doesn't cut it.

Not a miracle, just a little good help

I am 41 years old. Recently I'd begun to notice that the little vertical creases around my upper lips were really starting to look deep and severe. My upper lip in general was looking thinner. I know some of this is hereditary - I remember my mom's lips looked just like this. But, like us all, I wondered if there was something I could do. I'm very skeptical of all the "anti-aging" wrinkle creams out there, but I've been happy with some other Olay products so figured I'd give this one a try.I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and am really noticing a difference. I keep it in my purse and apply throughout the day, using as a regular lip balm / lip gloss (I don't wear lipstick). In terms of gloss, I like the way it looks - natural and moist rather than slick and shiny. It feels fine, similar to other lip balms, with just a tiny hint of tingle. I have been applying this on my lips and also just beyond the lipline as well. Those sharp lines around my lips have really softened - they haven't gone away, but they are softer and my upper lip looks a little more plump and natural than it did before, more like it did when I was younger. The lines are less noticeable due to the plumping of the lip itself and the softening of the lines along the edge.I'm a believer in this product and will definitely continue to use it.

Terrible results

This product made my lips very dry and cracked. I usually use Burt's Bee balm to keep my lips hydrated. The Olay product not only didn't fill out any lines, but actually dried out my lips incredibly and made them crack. I would definitely NOT recommend this product to anyone. I tried their skin and eye Regenerist lines and really like them. I was hoping this would work as the skin care line was highly rated by Consumer Reports, but alas, it didn't. It actually made things worse and at $6, a tube, I would save my money and buy three tubes of Burt's!

This was my first beauty treatment from Olay. I was a little concerned before buying and applying it. I applied it and result came about after for two weeks, my skin felt now a little lifted, no more losen skin specially on neck and close to eyes. I apply it daily before sleep, once a day.Comparing with other similar treatments, it looks a little expensive, but I subscribed from Amazon to get 15% off.

I have been using the product for a week now and I've noticed that my skin is very soft and supple. I put one whole pump morning and night because I use a medication that severely dries out my skin and the dry flakes are now gone. Only time will tell if it has anti aging properties, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Overpriced...underperforms

This product is actually a lotion, not a creme which I expected. Being a lotion and rather thin in consistency, you will have to use a lot more. This is especially true considering the fact that there does not seem to be a whole lot of moisturizers in it. I find my cheap Suave hand lotion moisturizes my skin better, and at about 1/50th the cost ounce for ounce.

Perfect for my sensitive skin

I am very impressed with this product: no stinging, no breakouts, non-greasy, and it has delivered on its promises. My skin is much less irritated and inflamed after about a month of using the product, and my fine lines are diminishing--I am using this in combination with Burt's Bees Naturally Ageless Skin Firming Night Creme (another product I recommend) so that may also be having an effect on fine lines.

I tried this product out of desperation since nothing else has helped with my rosacea. It moisturized pretty well, and my skin felt softer, but it did nothing for the redness. Good product if you need softer skin! But don't expect it to do anything for rosacea redness.

seriously worked for me

This product worked wonders on the red, flaky skin on my face and eyelids. I saw results within a few days and it was all cleared up within a couple of weeks---No more flakes! As a bonus, I noticed that the fine lines around my eyes were significantly softened. The bottle is small, but I only used a very small drop each day, so it lasted for a couple of months. I don't have rosacea, but have really sensitive skin, so my redness was caused by allergies. Eucerin products were recommended by my dermatologist for this reason. Now, I recommend them, too. Especially this anti-aging serum. Two thumbs waaaay up.

My husband and I stumbled upon this product while in Las Vegas back in May - we had just celebrated my birthday the evening prior and needless to say I wasn't looking my best. The guy at the store did a demonstration on one eye to show the results, needless to say it was not only amazing but pretty much instant! I have been using this product ever since - I've always had super sensitive skin and have to be very careful of anything I put on my face - I've never had any issues with any of the Oro Gold products. I'm currently using 4 different products from this line and love every single one of them. I'm not the only one who has noticed how much better my skin looks either - a few friends I hadn't seen in a while asked what I had done - I had botox over 3 years ago and never received one single remark - I'm not saying this product is anything like botox, but when people start to notice your skin looks tighter, less puffy around the eyes, more tone & even colored there is obviously a reason for it.......the reason is this; THIS PRODUCT WORKS!! I was super happy to have found it so much more less expensive than what I paid for it in Vegas. This has allowed me to purchase different products that otherwise I would have been hesistant to try due to price. This is already my second bottle purchased. It works very well with my skin type which is moderately oily and still acne prone at age 39. I apply a thin coat all over my face after washings. It has definitely helped (but not totally cured) my under the eye fine-lines or wrinkles problem.

Love it! I purchased several Oro Gold products at The Forum Shops in Las Vegas at a price of over $200. each. Needless to say, I was devastated when I saw them for 10% of the cost online the next day. I felt swindled, but could not deny the immediate results I was seeing with these products. So I decided to just be happy that I could rebuy them at such a discount, especially since, had I not seen them for cheaper, I would have just been stressed about how I was going to afford to keep up with this expensive skin-care regimen. I will say that even using the products everyday, they last longer than the bottle size suggests, with the exception of the 'Vitamin C Booster Facial Serum'. However, it is my fave and I do slather it on twice a day.Bottom line is I can tell a HUGE difference in my skin! It is tighter, smoother, firmer. Just younger. I am 39 and have always had younger looking skin with little to no wrinkles, but suddenly this year my whole face started to show age. Signs of forehead lines, sinking cheeks & slightly saggy skin. Yikes. But now I look like I did 5-7 years ago. The first couple of times I used this, I got a red, bumpy rash under my eyes. I discontinued all products, slapped on some hydrocortisone topical against my better judgement, and the redness subsided after about 24 hrs. I didn't think this product was the cause, given the awards and accolades it received, so I gave it another go-- without using ANY other creams on my face at all. Boom, spots again. And this time, they are pretty raw feeling, so I'm going to spend my Friday night with a couple of benadryl, because this looks disgusting. I'm not a particularly sensitive person--I don't have any other allergies, that I'm aware. And yet, this stuff is making the skin under my eye FREAK out. I'd say, unless you're desperate, it's probably not worth it. Stick with Clinique. Their undereye products feel substantial and soothing, no red bumps included. Sigh. I wish I could give this negative five stars for ruining my friday night.

It is just okay

I can see a slight difference in the puffiness under my eyes, which is better than no difference. I have used ths for the last two weeks, each morning.

Horrible ....

My wife used this product for 3 days. On the 3rd day her eyes became very swollen with tiny red spots. She immediately discontinued using it,and took an antihistamine, didn't help much. Today I went online to do more research, and found many complaints of similar nature. Even the Olay website has many complaints in a product review section. I called in and they offered a refund. I don't care much about the refund, I wanted to know how to get rid of the swollen eyes with red spots. If you go to Olay web site and search for this product, you'll get "This product is no longer available." So if the manufacturer itself is no longer producing this product, why don't they recall it all together...... HORRIBLE......

I enjoyed this a lot and will buy it. A nice creamy-feeling emolient for under the eyes at night. Easy to put on. No chance of overdoing it as far as pulling that delicate skin. Just pump once to get some product to the surface and roll under your eyes. Not greasy at all. Felt really nice. I think it did my eyes some good.

Allergic Reaction

Used this twice. I was eager to try this after watching the commercial on tv. Saw it at the store & thought it was pricy but gave it a chance anyways. My first time using it I noticed the next day my eyes were a bit red underneath & had what looked like rash-like bumps. I wasn't 100% sure if it was this product so a week or so later I gave it another chance only to be disappointed again. This time my reaction was worse & my eyes were puffy, more red with even more rash-like bumps on them. I'll never use this again or recommend it to anyone. I wish there was some way of getting my money back.

Burned my eyes too

I also had a problem with it running into my eyes while on my walk. The burning was so bad I had to walk home with my eyes shut most of the way. Also, it doesn't go on smooth. It's a bit grainy, like an exfoliate - maybe I just got a bad batch? And the product was heavy, too. I didn't want to put foundation on afterwards. I wanted a product with a high SPF, but I'm really not happy with this one. I'll be glad when it's used up and I can try something else.

Artificial smell

I don't like the scent of this

I've been using this cream daily for around 2 months and I haven't noticed any changes in my skin, although I certainly don't expect my fairly young-looking 57 year old skin to transform magically back to 25 year old skin. I have sensitive, normal-to-dry skin and this moisturizes well enough for the summer, but I doubt if it will be enough to keep me hydrated when the furnace kicks on. It goes on smoothly due to it having some silicone added, soaks in quickly, and doesn't dry sticky at all.However, I really hate the scent. Maybe I'm a little more sensitive to fragrances in my skincare products than the average person. The scent of this is herbal/medicinal, and it lingers way longer than I like it to. And yes, it has SPF 25, I do applaud Olay for upping the SPF in this product over most of their others which have an SPF 15.This product has some parabens in it as preservatives, but I don't worry much about those. I've been using skincare with parabens for 20 or so years, and they haven't hurt me yet. What I don't like and it really upsets me is Olay still tests on animals when there is no reason to do this - there are plenty of other ways to test without having to dab this in the rabbits' eyes.

There are better anti-aging products with less toxic ingredients

Olay Regenerist products use methylparaben and other ingredients that the Environmental Working Group, on its site the Cosmetic Safety Database, has identified as toxic. So while this product works okay and is reasonably priced, it really isn't a bargain. If money is an issue and you aren't worried about putting these chemicals on your skin, you will probably like this product, but I'd rather spend more money and buy something more natural, or at least less toxic, that works just as well or better.

i have been using this moisturizer for about 8 months and LOVE it! and i still haven't finished my first bottle :) i use it everyday and you don't need too much to cover your whole face. goes on smoothly, no funky sunscreen scent, and my skin looks great! i get compliments all of the time. i'm 21 but i'm told i could pass for 16 for how my skin looks

The spf 25 was a big plus for me to try this, and it is now the only daily moisturizer I use. Try it and you'll be a fan too! I have sensitive skin and can't tolerate some brands, but this is a very good product.

As all Olay products are, this seems to be a good quality creme. I have been using it for a few weeks now and although I like the moisturizing it provides, I have not noticed any noticiable difference in my skin.
